Sydney's Albert Chiovenda challenges himself and the listener to immerse themselves in unusual sonic landscapes that slingshot the listener into abstract worlds full of wonder, mystery and self discovery. He believes music is about connecting and invites the listener to challenge themselves to look beyond the music to where the music takes you...the inner self that dwells within... This is music for the mind, as it works on many levels, consciously & subconsciously.

Growing up in the 90's Albert Chiovenda was lucky to exposed to all the crazy Detroit, Dutch & German Techno that was coming out during that era…

Albert has been a playing at events such as 10th Planet, Jungle Punks, Acid Faction, Deep Space, Fuzz Box, Strange Signals, Anomaly, and the infamous Trench events, Machine and Bunker in Melbourne.  The journey started in 1992 when I was sent to Rome, Italy. “I was living in Sydney when I was younger when my parents sent me overseas - I got totally schooled when I was there in the early 90's.. musically & culturally.” It was here that the seeds of what was to be Albert was born and the young Chiovenda, only 17 in 1992, experienced the burgeoning sound of European techno. “All the raves I went to were quite big it was pretty crazy, I was quite young so it was all new to me, so many radio stations played techno 24/7.

His love of ambient music is pronounced in his sets with citing influences in Robert Rich, Steve Roach, Brian Eno, Thomas Köner, Phillip Glass & Steve Reich. Combine this with his techno heroes Stanislav Tolkachev, Inigo Kennedy, Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, Jay Denham, Female, Regis, Claude Young, Ben Sims, Surgeon, James Ruskin & Developer and you have a performer that redefines the notion of DJ as party room hero, to DJ as cognitive musical therapist

Albert has collaborated with Stanislav Tolkachev and has releases on various labels including Granulart Recordings, Hayes Collective, Evod Music ,SRIE, DVNTT, Music From Exo-Planet with plans for future releases.

Since its humble inception back in 2004, Ranjit is the face behind one of Melbourne's longest running and reputable Techno brands - Technoir.
Having played for the brand a few times way back in the day, it was an absolute pleasure to reconnect with Ranjit on a musical level with this Stream. Had a great time recording his unique style of layered techno, and even better time discussing everything the Melbourne scene has had to offer over the years

Enhance 15 to 23… Replicants  2049 (aka Xavier Morel & Pat X) deliver a sci-fi soundtrack of neon saturated beats as their first in a series of Dj mixes for this isoStream to coincide with their upcoming releases on Machine later in 2021AD.

Rico's Café Podcast: EP005 feat. Bobble

In Hour 2 it's fellow Canadian Gene Tellem who released her debut EP “Who Says No” on Project Pablo’s label SOBO (Sounds Of Beaubien Ouest) last month. Her mix takes in music from Lola Allen, Sean Smith, LK, Morgun, DMX Krewcharles Trees and Bradford James. She told us;
"Mixes are a great way to give certain songs another life after seeing their effect in confined space. Often those will be put aside to be rediscovered later on. A mix is also a great way to introduce new pieces that i’m excited about, in hopes to create some familiarity for them with the listener that may find themselves hearing it out in the clubs and dance parties of the world."

Le Hutin is the co-founder and manager of the french label De La Groove.

Grown from a world of harmonies, the house he delivers is very teinted with soul ambiance, jazzy colors and funk to discoid influences. Instrumentalist before being Dj, he records live the wide majority of its own productions. 

It's been only one year that he appears onto the parisian scene and has already made its way down to the biggest venues such as Djoon, Garage or Wanderlust along with major DJs such as COEO, Folamour, Bellaire or Ethyene.

- I still have never seen Stars Wars, or The Godfather. I’ve none of my own.
