Current Value was tasked with going in on one of our most popular tunes from last year (TSMDIGI003) and delivered a remix that left us astounded.  The attention to detail is evident from the off -  basically, he's taken all our favourite bits and made them much better.  Whilst retaining the spirit of the original, in contrast this remix drops with a hard stepping beat and homegrown CV bassline, before rolling out and flattening everything in its path.  Tried and tested on dancefloors from Europe to Australasia, this never fails to get a crowd moving!

‘Velocity’ is the third album from MachineCode, following hot on the heels of 2013’s seminal ‘Under The Sun’ and continuing where its predecessor left off, taking up a position outside currently definable sub- genres. 12 tracks deep this time (including remixes from Mindscape and The Sect), the duo’s classic D&B sensibilities are well-evidenced, with rugged breaks, deep basslines and elegant pads the order of the day. Yet every element has received the unique and immediately identifiable MachineCode treatment, resulting in an album that pushes boundaries, but does so with a maturity and depth all too frequently lacking in today’s bass music scene. Moving seamlessly from brooding, percussive-led tribal pieces - through intricately-crafted, edit-heavy workouts and stepping, ‘80s-influenced neuro - to straight up dancefloor killers, ‘Velocity’ covers many angles. MachineCode prove they are more than adept at each - every track is infused with soul and their unmistakeable robotic funk, culminating in an album interesting and varied enough to sustain repeated home listening, whilst also satisfying even the most demanding of dancefloors.

The original version of NO CONTROL by Bro Safari, UFO! and Beauty Brain is a HUGE peak hour trap influenced dance floor banger. Me and Mark paid homage to the energy of the original but put our own unique twist on it. Drum and bass in both tempo and spirit, we added a lot of unique elements to make it little bit tribal and a little bit metal. We wanted to really push the boundaries and make this remix heavy and unique as fuck. I have personally tested this thing all over the place and it absolutely smashes. Enjoy!

Machine Code return to the fore with their with their second album project, Comprising 11 tracks of hard-hitting Drum & Bass (including a collaboration with The Sect and a devastating remix by DJ Hidden), ‘Under The Sun’ will please die-hard fans and new recruits alike. Lenzman's success as a Drum & Bass producer should come as no surprise, his sound having coalesced from Hiphop and an infatuation with Soul music to become one of the forerunners in liquid soul. In 2010 Lenzman's talent as an artist came to a head when he released 'Open Page' with Riya on Goldie's seminal Metalheadz label, a vocal collaboration that would continue to be a much-loved aspect of his sound. 

Lenzman's eclectic style was championed as a breath of fresh air for the scene and his career began to snowball. He has played headline gigs and festivals across the world earning respect from some of the greatest names in Drum & Bass, including Marcus Intalex and DJ Friction. 2013 promises even bigger things as he gears up to unveil his debut full-length release. Watch out for Lenzman's album 'Looking At The Stars', which will drop later this year on Metalheadz.
