
Zero Dark comprises of song writing duo James and Lynsey Fairbairn who currently reside in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. 

James Fairbairn, a self taught guitarist and vocalist originally from Ayrshire, Scotland began song writing as a past time 8 years ago. 

Lynsey Fairbairn, played both piano and saxophone from a young age, was more familiar with classical and Jazz (FYJO) rather than Rock. James encouraged Lynsey to pick up the bass guitar after failing to find a bassist to join his earlier band. She has since developed as a player and is now also performing as lead guitarist. 

For the last 5 years, they have worked together to write, perform, record and produce their own music.

Being unable to find like-minded individuals who shared their passion for heavy delay driven melodies, James and Lynsey made the decision to move to a purely digital forum, allowing them to create their music without compromise.
