"Metafonia" is the Italian word that identifies the phenomenon known in parapsychology as "electronic voices". Metafonia III is the third in order of publication and the one where the source voices are more treated, in fact they are unrecognizable compared to the other sound elements that create the track.

Each piece was made starting from vocal samples recorded and processed in real time with a laptop (and with the addition of some synths). The only voice behind these pieces is mine (at least I think, and above all I hope, even if I can never be completely sure), recorded while I was improvising random phrases, as if I were my own medium.
I waited a long time before deciding to finish and release this series of songs, the gloomy atmosphere of this end of October 2020 made me realize that it was time to let them go.
The project is to release all the tracks, one or two at a time, between today and the evening of October 31st (as per pagan tradition), to collect them in a single album that will be available on Bandcamp ...

Metafonia III è la terza in ordine di pubblicazione e quella dove le voci sorgenti sono più trattate, infatti sono rese irriconoscibili rispetto agli altri elementi sonori che creano la traccia.
Ogni brano stato della serie è realizzato a partire da campioni vocali registrati ed elaborati in tempo reale con un laptop (e con l'aggiunta di un po' di synth). L'unica voce alla base di questi brani è la mia (almeno credo, e soprattutto spero, anche se non potrò mai esserne del tutto certo), registrata mentre improvvisavo frasi casuali, come fossi il medium di me stesso.
Ho aspettato diverso tempo prima di decidere di terminare e pubblicare questa serie di brani, l'atmosfera cupa di questo fine di ottobre 2020 mi ha fatto capire che era arrivato il momento di lasciarli andare.
Il progetto è di rilasciare tutte le tracce, una o due per volta, tra oggi e la sera del 31 ottobre (come da tradizione pagana), per raccoglierle in un unico album che sarà disponibile su Bandcamp...

I started my musical journey at the age of five, initially composing music with tablature taught by my father. Beginning with the penny whistle and violin, I played in our family band, busking on the streets of Bath.

Our travels across the country inspired compositions like "Road to Wareham." Music became my sanctuary, especially after being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. In college, under mentors such as Dr. Rick Birley, Dr. Richard Hall, and Dr. Julie Trevett, I honed my skills in composition, theory, and piano, transitioning to formal music notation using Sibelius.

Today, I compose for film, video games, and theatre. My music, influenced by my diverse experiences, aims to evoke emotion and tell stories.
