The song was completed for two consecutive days. This is due to the fact that I exchanged emails with my online friends about music and video. When I made it with the faint TV drama scene in my memory in mind, this song was completed.
In Japanese dramas, the characters often end without clearly expressing their compassion for each other. Even in such a drama, the electro music that we made this time plays a role in telling that the hearts of the people are attracted to each other. It's a troublesome culture.

All that I did not understand, Story of an afternoon and Under Antonio Ceriani / Tutto quello che non ho capito, Storia di un pomeriggio e Sotto Antonio Ceriani

These three songs are constructed in a very similar way, practically recording short guitar patterns and creating loops by re-editing them and processing them with the same outboard. They were also the easiest tracks of the selection to restore as they were kept on multi-track format. All three tracks are directly inspired by Pietro Puccio's paintings. Between the distressing expectation of Under Antonio Ceriani and the lazy and lukewarm pace of the Story of an afternoon, my favorite has always been All that I did not understand, with that mass of unknown emerging from the depths of the canvas and swallowing all the forms and colors.

Questi tre brani sono costruiti in modo molto simile, in pratica registrando dei brevi pattern di chitarra e creando loop rimaneggiandoli e passandoli dagli stessi macchinari. Sono stati anche i più facili della raccolta da restaurare in quanto tenuti in multi-traccia. Tutti e tre i brani sono ispirati direttamente da dei quadri di Pietro Puccio. Tra l'attesa desolante di Sotto Antonio Ceriani e il pigro e tiepido incedere di Storia di un pomeriggio, il mio preferito è sempre stato Tutto quello che non ho capito, con quella massa di ignoto che emergeva dal fondo della tela e ingoiava le forme e i colori.

"Metafonia" is the Italian word that identifies the phenomenon known in parapsychology as "electronic voices". Metafonia I is the second track in order of publication, and the first in order of numbering, of a series of compositions inspired by this phenomenon. 
Approaching Halloween and the dark atmosphere of this historical period are reflected in the dark character of the song.

Each piece was made starting from vocal samples recorded and processed in real time with a laptop (and with the addition of some synths). The only voice behind these pieces is mine (at least I think, and above all I hope, even if I can never be completely sure), recorded while I was improvising random phrases, as if I were my own medium.
I waited a long time before deciding to finish and release this series of songs, the gloomy atmosphere of this end of October 2020 made me realize that it was time to let them go.
The project is to release all the tracks, one or two at a time, between today and the evening of October 31st (as per pagan tradition), to collect them in a single album that will be available on Bandcamp ...

"Metafonia" è la parola italiana che identifica il fenomeno noto in parapsicologia come "voci elettroniche". Metafonia I è la seconda traccia in ordine di pubblicazione, e la prima in ordine di numerazione, di una serie di composizioni ispirate a questo fenomeno.
Halloween che si avvicina e il clima tetro di questo periodo storico traspaiono dal carattere cupo del brano.
Ogni brano stato della serie è realizzato a partire da campioni vocali registrati ed elaborati in tempo reale con un laptop (e con l'aggiunta di un po' di synth). L'unica voce alla base di questi brani è la mia (almeno credo, e soprattutto spero, anche se non potrò mai esserne del tutto certo), registrata mentre improvvisavo frasi casuali, come fossi il medium di me stesso.
Ho aspettato diverso tempo prima di decidere di terminare e pubblicare questa serie di brani, l'atmosfera cupa di questo fine di ottobre 2020 mi ha fatto capire che era arrivato il momento di lasciarli andare.
Il progetto è di rilasciare tutte le tracce, una o due per volta, tra oggi e la sera del 31 ottobre (come da tradizione pagana), per raccoglierle in un unico album che sarà disponibile su Bandcamp...
