Lancer begins to have second thoughts about humoring the Lightners, and calls off the tournament. With no hope of them returning to their home worlds, they spread out across the Dark World and find a place to call their own. Barney has a premonition of what will happen if this imbalance between light and dark persists, and brings it upon himself to get the gang back together.

Bessie is the Papyrus replacement. After the tournament disbanded and everyone set off to make the most out of their situation, Bessie flew to the Field to inspire the admittingly apathetic residents under her superhero alter-ego, The Mighty B! She guides the community in various activities, reminding them there’s always room to grow and make the world a better place.
