Born in South Africa, living in Ibiza; BLOEM is greatly inspired by the sounds from her roots and mixes influences from all over the world.

She creates a unique fusion of rhythms and percussions tastefully blended with elements from deep tech, disco and house.

Her intention is to elevate dance floors around the world to a state of positive energy and movement.

To date she has released music through Sol Selectas, Lump, Akbal Records, Warung Records, Abracadabra Records and Motek.

So for the third time in the last five years I had the honor to be asked to play for two wonderful people on the day they were declaring their eternal love to each other but sadly this time I couldn't make it to the event itself because of my bad health that makes me a high risk patient. And while nothing beats the feeling of attending the magical celebration of love, I still wanted to contribute and dedicate a set to it and so I recorded this. 

I tried to capture a glimpse of that warm, safe feeling of loving and being loved and I also tried to make it a favorite for these two people specifically ♡

to close the summer season we have organized a last "SOKO LOVE OPEN AIR" at the most stunning spot for me (and many) in all of Hamburg and it was so emotional for me as exactly there, on this famous old harbor scale, back in 2o18, my very first surprise gig alias fLOYD tRAVIS has taken place.

furthermore I rarely had it that sooo many young new ravers have given me so much positive feedback after a gig and on the next morning I had 6 new followers and even got contacted twice when the set will be online. wohooo

it's a spontaneous and improvised new interpretation of various playlistst that I've played here and there and I've also seen it again as an open air action set and consciously let myself be taken by the wild dark flashing harbor athmosphere and fell in love with my good old friend mr. filter button and also the cut-break transitions wanted to jump out here and there . . .

massive thanks to all who have danced in the front row and screamed and highfived with me during the ride. hahaaa
