Since becoming a DJ, UV has been turning heads at a rapid rate with his hard hitting bass style and energetic performances. He originally got his start at Milwaukee's only alt dance club, Club Anything, where he was known for his hard hitting, stompy beats and unorthodox blending style, which has helped him command dancefloors everytime he gets on the decks. This gave him the ability to adapt to any music style to the point where he is quickly becoming a well rounded turntablist.

He has recently become a staple and music activist of the Milwaukee Drum'n'bass scene, and established heavy hitting DJ, and aspiring promoter/producer. He also has been running his own online radio show on HushFM.com called MURK MONDAYS.

Mad Static is a hip-hop artist, poet, and songwriter, based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Throughout his life as a teenager, he looked to music (specifically hip-hop, metal, and alternative rock) as a way of dealing with the pressures of high school and living up to others' expectations, that nearly led him to depression. Ever since he first performed poetry for his high school talent show, Static began going non-stop at writing and doing whatever it took to get his name heard. 

Around 2005, Static decided to make hip-hop music a full-time ambition, as he began to collaborate and network with other local artists, in hopes to find his signature sound. A sound that would mix his spoken word roots, with other influences from his days of studying rap music, that ranges from everyone well-known to underrated. If not enough, a lot of Static's songs incorporate themes of mostly heartache, loss, and paranoia with the world around him, and recited in almost a stream-of-consciousness delivery. While the instrumentals behind his voice are subdued in hard-hitting drums, strings, pianos, and the subtlety of guitars, noting of his rock influence. 

Mad Static is a man of many personalities, emotions, and ideas, to the point where you never know which side of him you'll get. However, at the end of the day, the one thing he makes clear, is that he doesn't rap for money, or fame, or anything materialistic. When he writes, it is to tell a story, when he speaks, it's to express his pain, and when he performs, it is to share the moment with those around him. Music is much more to Mad Static, and for those reasons, it is why to this day he remains an artist that refuses to compromise or dumb down to be the best in the game.
