🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - "Disco" is one of the most annoying and repetitive tracks in Streets of Rage 3, and since it's barely 30 seconds long, there was very little to work with. However, that's always part of the fun, and a great challenge for me. For this version of the song, I wanted to play up the rapid-fire club elements of the 1990s dance scene, as made famous by the best rave, house and techno acts of the time period.

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - "Boss" is deservedly self-explanatory, and sums up the frantic aggression of Streets of Rage 3 quite well. Like all the songs in the soundtrack, there's plenty of room to expand, and I had a lot of fun getting creative with this one. However, the main rhythm and hook is always the central focus, constantly circling back to it, while adding some more menace and power to the original composition.

Boss (Expanded & Enhanced)- STREETS OF RAGE 3

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - "Percussion" is a very tricky tune with a Caribbean-style beat and a lot of abstract elements, which is why it took some time to figure out a way to branch off into an accompanying section.  I'm happy with what I came up with, and I think it's a nice departure from the main theme, without leaving it entirely.

Percussion (Expanded & Enhanced)- STREETS OF RAGE 3

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - "Random Cross" is one of the most abstract songs on the entire album, and therefore very difficult to expand. I decided less is more for this one, rather than go off in too drastic a direction. The song maintains the humming groove right to the end, with just a little bit of aesthetic fiddling to help add some flavor to it.

Random Cross (Expanded & Enhanced) - STREETS OF RAGE 3

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - "Robo X" is a semi-boss track that unfortunately didn't get a lot of attention in the original game. It's a simple, straightforward song with odd time signatures that loops very fast, leaving very little material to draw from. I decided to just go with my instinct to construct a middle section, while blending new parts with existing material to create a more fleshed out version. It's also worth noting that I incorrectly titled this song "Mr. X," which is incorrect. That was now been fixed.

Robo X (Expanded & Enhanced) - STREETS OF RAGE 3

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - Unless you're a diehard acid techno fan, "Crazy Train" will undoubtedly drive you.......crazy. Expanding this song was a challenge, but I ended up slicing the track into three equal parts, stuffing my own content in between, then tightening it up with a mid section that hopefully gives it room to breathe. For the FINAL CRASH edition of the soundtrack, I added some more menace to the expansion so counteract the poppy feel of my original Gold Edition last year.

Crazy Train (Expanded & Enhanced) - STREETS OF RAGE 3

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - "Inga Rasen" is one of the most acid-infused techno tracks on the entire Streets of Rage 3 album, but I wanted to take everything I learned from dark mid-90s Goa trance, and apply it to this track for a powerful balance. The entire song is meant to evoke the chaos of the first stage of the final battle, and my expanded section tries to suck the listener down a terrifying vortex of frantic energy and paranoia.

Inga Rasen (Expanded & Enhanced) - STREETS OF RAGE 3

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 23/23🔥 - Streets of Rage 3 comes to an end with this final Expanded & Enhanced version of "Ending." This version blends elements from SOR1's "The Last Soul" and SOR2's "Good Ending" to create a hybrid concoction that blends well with the original notes.

The song lacked the emotion and heart of Yuzo Koshiro's original, and my expansion felt flat as a result. This time, I've brought out all the feels for this smooth, beautiful and haunting song. This is the ultimate version that I wanted to release.

🔥FINAL CRASH UPDATE / Nov. 6/23🔥 - The last version of "Max Man" I put out for the Gold Edition releases contained flaws that I was never happy with. I wanted this FINAL CRASH version to be the most powerful and correct of all. That took lots of listening, tweaking and balancing in order to get right. I absolutely adore how thrilling this version sounds, especially with the expanded section I built onto Motohiro Kawashima's original track. I feel it all fits, and perfectly fleshes out the song past the limitations of a Sega Genesis cartridge.
