This time, during the first hour of the show we are joined by one of the London's finest female vinyl selectors and collectors - Kirsty P. She's is a genuine music lover with a unique taste for music and excellent mixing skills.
In her eclectic selections you can find anything from obscure disco and italo/indie infused beats to new wave and synth pop.
Needless to say she only plays vinyl and already recorded dozens of mixes and podcasts for such names as Millionhands, Esters, Cosmic Capers Radio Show and many others.

HF: How did you discover this track ? Why did you choose to edit it ? 

DF : I'm a big fan of YMO and the work of its members since my teenagehood. I believe I heard this record by Hosono about 5 years ago, when I moved to Berlin and was living with my old flatmates, who had a crazy amount of records, but I think it was 2 years ago when I heard ’Shambala Signal' consciously and imagined what I could do with those bells and percussions which are all over the original track, finally during quarantine I had plenty of time to work on music and remembered I wanted to edit this track. It was finished quite quickly and fluidly, since I still had, luckily, a fresh idea of what I wanted to do and how wanted it to sound. I used mainly the chops from the original track, soft synths and samplers to work it.
