For our next podcast we are pretty mind-blown to present one of London's most incredible diggers, selectors and DJ's - Jaye Ward.

Having her roots set in Hackney, East London, Jaye has been involved in music for the best part of the last 30 years; playing the Club Dog parties in the late 80's, through to working for record shops, labels & distribution companies and DJing and promoting since the 90's. More recently, she's been playing a rolling schedule of clubs and festivals that include Dalston Superstore, Ministry Of Sound, Printworks, gigs in Bucharest, Cyprus and Berlin, plus the upcoming Albian festival, Kala.

Showcasing her spectral selections through her Magical Real show on Netil Radio and occasional Creamy Meat time on Frequency. In the mix, Jaye is unmatched for curveballs, beatless wonders, out-there selections and sub-120bpm slow grooves. Taking a steady but powerful approach to mixing and selection. Her mix for us is a celestial trip into the outer realms of the Oort Cloud, a step from the edge of a Higgs Boson into 11th-dimensional supergravity. One for the heads and astral wanderers.

A former record shop bae + exporter of warehouse finds and once described as 'Soho's very own disco dwarf', this girl has been playing some of the best records music history has offered us, from boogie to psych to house to new wave to balearic to... everything good - cause trust us, her taste is im-peccable. Jaye embodies a vast knowledge of music like no other, which she shares via clubs and festivals around Europe, her weekly Magical Real show for Netil Radio, or with People Like Us (PLU), an underground queer party in the truest sense. Following her mind-blowing set, FP's @tmargos saves the day.
