Welcome on board, here's the 55th episode of the Stellar Series.

Rig Thrall is one of those artists with strong character and style, plus an eclectic and varied selection combined to solid influences. A racy techno style combining planar and tribal music but also progressive trance, breaks and marked tones from the 80s-90s.

He co-created various projects during his young life in this industry, such as @rakya-records (label & collective) in Paris or OQULT collective in Montreal (facebook.com/oqultmtl) for the most recent.

Also producer, he released two EPs, including one on his own label, and several collaborations on movie or advertising soundtracks. He is currently working on new projects which should see the daylight soon. Case to follow.

Located 25 million light years away from Earth in the constellation of the Great Bear, the Molinete galaxy or NGC 5457, is one of the largest galaxies in our Milky Way neighbourhood (more than twice the diameter of our galaxy). Brain waves are oscillating electrical voltages that possess different output frequencies in different cerebrum regions. One part of the brain can be asleep while another can be busting out alpha, delta, and theta bands like there's no tomorrow. 

Theta waves are particularly interesting; they surge in presence when a subject is sleeping or dreaming, and also experience a boost when analyzing music. To be even more specific, the amygdalae region has a boost in theta and alpha power when dreaming and listening to music, leading some to pretty out-there conclusions but we'll leave you to guess what those are.

Whatever the relationship between dreams, music, and theta waves, let local girl Di Linh catapult your oscillating electrical voltages into the stratosphere with this hypnotic mix of frequencies.
