Alicea is a passionate DJ from Munich in Germany who loves to play with different electronic music genres. However, she is especially attracted to chords and deep, melancholic Techno, which is why she likes to combine Dub Techno with Deep House elements. In this podcast, she likes to create soundscapes for home that have a positive and hopeful vibe. ALICEA has been playing in popular Techno clubs since 2019 and is just starting to produce.

We love Jon Tye here at Ransom Note Towers, in all his many guises. Last time we spoke to him was for a wonderful Label Love piece on the 20th anniversary of his Lo Recordings imprint. This year he's been busy as always, releasing the 'Peaks' album under his Brain Machine moniker with Guido Zen and Kyle Martin, as well as blessing us with 'Escape Hatch', the fourth Seahawks album.

Jon has been so kind as to make us a mix of original material, so every track is either produced or co-produced by himself. With material from Seahawks, Brain Machine, Cherry Garcia and Pink Fluid nestled within, we feel pretty sure you're gonna enjoy it as much as us.

Recognized as one of Malaysia’s most prominent figures in the music scene with over 20 years of experience in the industry, Alam has dedicated most of his years embracing the culture. Not only is he one of the backbones behind KL's leading establishments, but he has definitely proven himself to be considered as one of the pioneers of this generation firing up the local and international clubbing scene, with residencies at most of the major venues, including Kuala Lumpur’s premier underground club; The Backroom KL to the recent Kyo KL. Other worldwide venues include The Egg London, Eden & Ibiza Rocks Bar, JENJA Bali, Kilo Lounge Singapore, Oma Hong Kong (Clockenflapp Festival Afterparty), Mustache Bangkok, Cha Cha Moon Beach Club Koh Samui (opened for Dubfire), The Lighthouse Saigon & Broma Not A Bar in Ho Chi Minh, as well as Indonesia’s infamous Stadium Jakarta, Embassy & Co2.

Alam has always been upfront with what he does; he’s known to be characterized as a house and techno DJ, but his versatile roots explore an endless amount of diverse sounds and unparalleled grooves. Regardless, he always manages to deliver an experience of sound leaving the crowd wanting more.
