I am very happy to share with you another recording from our "7 Year Anniversary of Magician On Duty" that was hosted in Berlin  at Klunkerkranich this past September!

This time around, introducing "Null" (@nullmusik)

When Pierre and Hadri first embarked on their musical journey, the equation of 1+1 magically resulted in the harmonious resonance of 2. Armed with a solitary mouse and a lone keyboard, these two friends engaged in sporadic jam sessions within the confines of their Berlin studio.

Amidst the hustle of one immersed in work and the other grappling with a diminishing faith in humanity, two distinct paths converged, creating a dual void where something indispensable was amiss. As the world paused, and the relentless ticking of the clock came to a standstill, Null emerged from the stillness.

Pooling together their diverse influences, they forged a project that breathed life back into the spirit of freedom. A fusion of their creative energies mirrored a matrimonial union, finding solace and unity in the embodiment of Zero, or as they lovingly named it, Null.

Henceforth, in the symphony of their shared artistic pursuit, the simple arithmetic of 1+1 gracefully dissolves into the enigmatic equation of null, symbolizing the inseparable union of their creative souls.

Not all first times are really great, but my first time playing at Acid Bogen in @kater_blau a couple weeks ago really really surpassed what I had envisioned and could have wished for the occasion. Initially, I was supposed to play B2B once again with my dear friend @janoma, but unfortunately he couldn't be present on that day. Luckily, the slot was perfect for me alone as well - early Saturday morning, sunrise time.

I absolutely love to play sunrise (and sunset 😉) sets, as they are perfect for dwelling between light and darkness. In those early hours, when tiredness kicks in, but the longing to connect and to dance is stronger, the atmosphere tends to be very inviting for warmth, charm, depth, dreaminess and intimacy. And so it was, in the so called here's and now's which took place then. I think I had never seen Acid Bogen so full at that time of the morning as in the last hour of my set (: More important than that, I had the right people by my side supporting me, which makes all the difference!! All of this together simply created such an amazing vibe for the brand new day that just started. A day which I don't want to ever forget ❤️ so much gratitude to all the dancers who danced their souls out, especially to my long-term listeners and those closer ones which I carry dearly in my heart 🙏

Over 10 years ago in 2013 I kicked off Sunset Grooves podcast by inviting DJs and artists that I enjoyed listening too. It did not matter what genre, how many followers they had, where they come from but it came down to their love for music and their unique interpretation of what music to play during a sunset. With the number of listeners that followed the podcast it soon became a platform for upcoming and new artists to be discovered by those who love good music. 

Soooo, I want to personally thank every single artist who has contributed to 10 years of quality music that has been heard on this podcast. From your unique sets, to sharing premieres from all four corners of the world. Equally thank you to all the listeners who have supported the channel, written comments and gone on to follow the artists :) 

10 Year Podcast Mix: 

I want to thank all the artists who have shared some unreleased edits and productions with me over the last few years and I wanted to put together a mix with music that has inspired my musical taste the last 10 years, while having never played these tracks in previous mixes :) It is a set that I would play while the sun sets over the Swiss mountains starting off slow and progressively getting more and more intense! 

A couple of shoutouts regarding unreleased music, but the list is of course endless for me: Rolandson for the intro inspiration, Orlando 51 for the cinematic discovery, Barda for the downtempo softness, The Scumfrog for being a true music head, K2WO for that new funky rawness, thommie g for his high level of mixing electro with a blend of classics,... 

I will stop babbling now and move aside for the music!

Nach einer langen Silvester Nacht durfte ich in den Morgenstunden auf dem Flucc Deck von 09:00–12:00 die Afterhour einleiten. 

Die Sonne brach immer wieder durch die Wolken und hüllte die vernebelte Tanzfläche in ein kräftiges Orange ein. 

Musikalisch wollte ich allen Gästen eine warme Umarmung geben und sie sanft wieder landen lassen. Ein smoother Start für's neue Jahr ✨
