"L.S. in Wonderland" is me telling a story. My story of finding wonderful inspirations in electronic music.
These are songs that have accompanied me over the last few years and songs which I just found days ago. Mixing those tracks, blending them together, showed me that there are a lot of similarities to the music that I was listening to, all merging into a very personal sound journey. 
I'm understanding a little more each day, which elements in music I love.
I feel like I've found a path that I want to continue after experimenting with so many different sounds of music over the last 10 years.
Almost feels like Arrival.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this edition we welcome Zhart (@zhart) & Seyde (@seyde-music)

They got to know each other on the dance floor, danced intensely, smiling brightly and discovered their common passion, which they want to share with the world: Silky soft, gentle tones, emotional flowing episodes and gently driving, slowly pounding beats like the sound of a heavy old train. 

Seyde has been a band member and producer for years and has just found his home in soulful, dreamy and bouncy downtempo and recently played his first live set.

Zhart has stepped into the downtempo scene in Berlin and is known for heavy synths and basslines. Thanks to the co-production with Seyde he is able to express his softer side. 

Especially for this set they have used their vision of sound to create an original track, which was the first own production for zhart. 

Together with the beloved BeYond Collective (@beyondcollectiveberlin) they create beautiful parties in Berlin and they invite everyone to experience them!

Its still hard to believe what happened there on the Isla bonita in Poland!
What an incredibly beautiful festival!
The timing, the Vienna Stage, the weather and crowd: just perfect!

We took over after Pulli & Chomba and used the last ray of day for some sundowner funky style. Slowly progressing towards the night the beat became a little more strict and dirty ! 

Thank you all for making this Set a magical one!
We loved every second!

Heute präsentieren wir euch eine Special-Ausgabe unserer Igelkarussell-Reihe von R3NATA. Sie ist Resident bei der Mystic Creatures Crew und hat in diesem Jahr bereits auf einigen fantastischen Venues gespielt. Als absolutes Highlight zum Abschluss der Festival-Saison stand sie auf einer einzigartigen Bühne des Sa Terza Metari Festivals auf Sardinien. Dieses kleine, aber feine Festival am Strand in West-Sardinien gibt es bereits seit einigen Jahren und bildet eine Art Berliner Exklave, die den Festival-Sommer noch um einige Wochen verlängert. Ein Traum für jeden Downtempo-Liebhaber: Gelato, Pizza und erstklassiger Sound – was könnte man sich mehr wünschen?

Festivals sind zweifellos eine der aufregendsten Entdeckungen von R3NATA, seit sie in Berlin lebt. Sie bieten die Möglichkeit, für ein paar Tage die Realität zu vergessen und sich voll und ganz in Musik, großartige Menschen und ausgelassene Stimmung zu stürzen - ein Zustand purer Glückseligkeit und Freiheit. Wahrscheinlich sind sie die beste Ausrede überhaupt, um die Welt zu erkunden, nicht nur, um die Bühne zu rocken, sondern auch, um neue Länder und Ecken unserer Welt zu entdecken. Genau das war der Fall bei Sa Terza Metari. Sie erlebte die Zeit ihres Lebens, bei ihrer zweistündigen Playtime. Das Publikum war absolut sensationell und tanzte, als gäbe es keinen Morgen. Die Stimmung war schlichtweg elektrisierend, und alle waren in diesem Moment gefangen. Alles passte einfach perfekt zusammen, besonders die Location am Strand und die geniale Dekoration des Floors (ein besonderer Gruß an den Easy Tiger Floor <3).

Freut euch also auf die Aufnahme dieses außergewöhnlichen Moments und genießt zwei Stunden voller Downtempo-Magie.

I had the incredible honor to play at the Spirit Space at Mystic Creatures Festival. What a wonderful experience to play music in this safe and slow space. Could have not imagined a more beautiful setting for this journey around 85 BPM. Thanks to all those beautiful souls that showed up to dance, chill, rest, dream or drift. Thank you to @truenaturemusic who played a wonderful set before me, thanks to all my loved ones that made the long journey by train and bus from Zurich to the festival! Thanks to all the @mystic-tales-berlin beings for preparing that festival and enabling so many unforgettable moments and most importantly thanks to all those incredible artists which produced the tracks of this set, if you like some of them, consider giving them a buy on bandcamp instead of streaming their music through spotify <3

ursobjektiv @ Mystic Creatures Festival 2024 (Spirit Space)

It was early October and the witch’s forest was full of energy since the arrival of Ishola, the African wizard who is also Hekske’s fiancé. Ishola is a wandering wizard, which means he’s always travelling around on foot and only comes to visit the witch’s forest a couple of times per year. But during these rare occasions, the forest really comes to life, while the two lovebirds are having a very intense time together. This time, the wizard stayed for 8 days and 8 nights and during this time, the forest went through a spectacular autumn transformation, with the leaves of the trees changing from green into all kinds of shades of yellow, orange and brown. And simultaneously, countless different species of mushrooms popped up all over the forest, while squirrels were busy collecting nuts for the winter. On the 8th day, a gentle wind started to blow through the woods, making the leaves fall in droves. All the animals and birds stopped their activities to look in awe at this colorful spectacle. And when all leaves had fallen, it suddenly became very quiet in the forest. Ishola sensed it was time to move on. He kissed goodbye to his beloved little witch, and continued his journey around the world.
After this teary goodbye, Hekske slowly came back to her senses and rushed to the center of the forest, where Falke (the 10-year old witch apprentice) and Lalita (the Asian tree nymph) had been waiting for her. They were very excited and pointed at the little oak tree (which is only 3 feet high but is destined to become the future mother tree of the forest ecosystem). Then Hekske saw it too : the tiny tree was glowing up with a pulsating pink light, just like a heartbeat. This had never happened before. Hekske, Falke and Lalita spontaneously made a circle around the little tree, holding hands. They closed their eyes and felt the pulsating energy enter their body, giving a pleasantly warm feeling inside their chests. And when they opened their eyes, they were amazed to see that they were able to see each other’s heartbeat as a pulsating pink glow through the white fabric of their long dresses.
This was a moment of pure magic …

KK Tribute is a 1:45 burst from the QuickServe world—written to the exact timer. It’s my nod to a certain video game’s cool tunes and lead-synth melodies that lived in my head for years and finally slipped out through subconscious inspiration. Like the rest of the QuickServe trio, this was a spur-of-the-moment capture I didn’t want to overthink. Born in the same creative week as Soft Down Math Vibes, it was always meant to complement the next release, QuickServe OG, and rotate inside the app’s three-track jukebox. I tried to ship it in the first build and kept breaking things; by QuickServe 2.0 it clicked right in. I still dream about adding more, but this one feels right—short, bright, and gone before you can overanalyze it. 🌌🍧
