The March issue of DylanHour presents the two Troubadour Tales books by Keith Miles (https://www.radiodarmstadt.de/news/dylanhour-troubadour-tales-und-klaus-doldinger-in-nyc.html)

In the course of the pandemic, Keith has designed a guide through clubs and bars in London (together with Jackie Lees) and New York's Greenwich Village, asking companions to tell their stories with Dylan and visit the places and stations of his career again.

The host of the show has conducted an interview with the British "Dylan" author after the London concerts, about his "Troubadour Tales" and his current impressions of the last concerts of the Rough and Rowdy Ways worldwide tour. 

The DylanHour repeatedly suggests an arc in the German and international jazz cosmos and presents the recently published autobiography by Klaus Doldinger with the title: "Made in Germany - My Life for the Music." The host is focused on the experiences of the 60's and 70's in New York City, and from time to time it is musically immersed in the spheres of jazz & folk of those days.

Klaus Doldinger has a lot to tell about his experiences and performances in New York and even found himself in 1972 at a party with the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Andy Warhol.

This also means that half a century of life for music is not yet told today until now and here. But certainly in the near future at Neighborhood Bullies & Shooting Stars.

Inspired by his love of punk and garage band music of the 1980s, Jon Clifford started a hair salon by Loring Park in Minneapolis in 2011. It’s a funky, one-of-a-kind place helmed by a funky, one-of-a-kind guy filled with music and Minnesota music memorabilia. Jon later added a record store with John Kass, focusing on local music, next to the salon; hence the name HiFi Hair and Records with “the best waiting room in the city.”

A welcoming place for a hair cut, the salon is filled with Jon’s craftsmanship, humor, quirkiness, creativity, and a feel good sense of community.

Celebrate a Minnesota music legend! Paul Metsa, acclaimed musician, songwriter, and author, is marking his 70th birthday with a special benefit show for AM950. It takes place Sunday, November 2 at 7 PM at the Aster House in Minneapolis. The evening also serves as a CD release party for his latest record, Songs of Resistance and Respect, a 12-track compilation of politically charged songs spanning 1984–2025. Vintage stadium-style theater seats are also available for those who want to relax with cocktails while enjoying the music. Paul Metsa is a legendary musician and songwriter from Minnesota. Born on the Iron Range, he has been based in Minneapolis since 1978.

He has received seven Minnesota Music Awards and has played more than five thousand gigs, including forays to Iceland and Siberia.
