Poem 

I don’t know what I’m feeling—only that it eats me whole,
A nameless ache, a silent scream that festers in my soul.
Each breath a curse, each thought a weight I cannot bear,
And no one sees the cracks beneath this blank, exhausted stare.

Why do I recoil from voices that only mean me well?
Why does a question feel like chains, like prison, like a cell?
I answer sharp, I spit, I break, then hate myself again—
This cycle spins with jagged teeth and chews through all my shame.

I never meant to be a weapon forged by others’ hands,
But pain has shaped me cruel and cold like scorched and splintered land.
I mimic love like muscle memory from years I can’t recall,
But every time I try to trust, I brace myself to fall.

I don't want to be this angry—I don't want to be this loud,
But even silence cuts me now, like screaming through a shroud.
I don't want to hurt the ones who offer me their light,
But kindness feels like poison when you're drowning every night.

So let me rot alone, untouched, unheard, unseen—
There’s comfort in the shadows when your soul is never clean.
I never asked to carry this, this grief I cannot name,
But here I am, a hollow shell, still shouldering the blame.

No words. No hands. No hope. No fight.
I’m tired of surviving out of spite.
Just let me fade into the noise,
A broken thing that once had voice.
