Wilkinson, has been on unstoppable form since the huge Radio 1 playlisted ‘Need To Know’ and most recent single ‘Heartbeat’ featuring Arlissa and P Money, which firmly established him as one of the UK’s hottest producers and DJs. The remnants of the great battle lay strewn as shreds across the meadow, the multi-faceted carcass of a climatic moment of a conflict long forgotten. The remains of those who had fought for their respective worthless causes now overshadowed by the bleak visage of fate. Legends spoke of the battle as the only one known to have occured with no victor. Each warrior slain on one side was said to be repaid by the death of his equal on the other, as though the melee was arbitrated by some unnatural force. At the battle’s termination there remained none but the two great leaders of the factions, who continued their personal onslaught through the strength of their intense hatred alone. Amongst the corpses of their compatriots they dueled, equally matched in both skill and fury and finally, equally they fell, each slipping his opponent’s guard in the same instant, as both felt their sword plunge through the other’s heart. The place was twice cursed it was told, once by the unnatural force that had presided over the slaughter, and once by the slaughter itself. Unlike most of their kind, these legends held truth, for this field was the lair of the malevolent AGRESSOR.

The being had lurked there from time immemorial, its existence a relic of a long forgotten age. Condemned to this waste for its timeless aggression, it had lingered on beyond the disappearance of its kind. Its hunger for anguish lured countless warriors to its meadow, their conflict a delectable feast for the spirit unseen. From each fallen fighter was riven its emotion, strengthening the being as it continued to feed. The magnitude of the battle had sated it for some time, and it would slumber again through multiple ages of man until that hunger arose once again… and when it did, the DEATH MEADOW would lure souls afresh.

AGRESSOR BUNX returns to the EATBRAIN label following the summer’s assault of the Massacre EP, with the release of the DEATH MEADOW EP. A five track EP featuring their characteristic subgenre spanning style, with DEATH MEADOW being a masterclass in the AGRESSOR BUNX sound. DEATH MEADOW’s ominous and cinematic atmosphere introduces the EP with grandeur alongside a rapid fire drumbeat, whilst the sinister saws of OFFENSIVE back its bassline fueled audio assault. PARARAMPAM provides a boisterous combo of sonics that amplify its rowdy atmosphere, and is followed by the roaring bass of STEP IT TO THE FRONT which struts with full funk fueled effect. TIME TO ROCK closes the EP with a fusion of styles, its neurofunk assault slowed to a heavy halftime pace before charging forwards to the finish. With DEATH MEADOW, AGRESSOR BUNX continue to exhibit their skills in creating their unique synthesis of disparate DNB sounds.

The warrior’s body was torn and broken, held together by thin threads of sinew and muscle that strained against any force put upon them, making each movement an exercise in agony. His very form seemed to mock humanity in its contorted state and presented an anatomical parabole by way of its very living existence. Yet for all of this suffering, he continued on unbowed, determined to become what he had been once again. He had attained the pinnacle of human strength and power, unstoppable in combat for his devastating ability. Such ability had brought enemies who had sought to strike him down unseen, to remove his greatest advantage in traditional combat. Their treacherous assault had nearly destroyed the warrior, but through the strength of his will he had remained, driven onwards by a new purpose: revenge.

For this motive he had crafted an array of devices that fed into him as veins to a heart, healing his body day by day, inch by inch, and molecule by molecule. Serums of his own concoction expedited this process, regenerating his tissues at a rate far beyond the human baseline. He had sealed himself into darkness, illuminated only by the iridescent glow of the technologies which enveloped him as a cocoon. Indeed, all about him was built for the sole purpose of his revenancy but for one inclusion. Directly opposite him stood a mirror, oddly organic in its contrast to the web of cables which surrounded it. His eyes locked forwards, the warrior stared ever into the mirror, unphased by the horrific REFLECTION that stared back. For the warrior, such a visage only bolstered his resolve. The REFLECTION’s of those who had wronged him would look far worse in time.

GANCHER & RUIN make a powerful return to EATBRAIN with the release of their REFLECTION EP, featuring two solo tracks and a collaboration with label boss JADE to form a well-honed three track package. REFLECTION merges the sounds of GANCHER & RUIN with those of JADE to maximum effect, as roaring basslines collide move to funk influenced rhythms in a well-orchestrated sonic synthesis. VELOCITY’s rising arpeggio leads straight into a full frontal drum-fueled assault, driven by the punctual punches of its pulverizing kicks and snares. UNLIMITED closes the EP, marked by the ravey saw stabs that dominate its top line alongside a series of vocal shots that add to the track’s colorful atmosphere. With the REFLECTION EP, GANCHER & RUIN once more display their unstoppable sound across three tracks with great effect.

Vienna's acclaimed Drum & Bass juggernaut Dorian, arguably one of the scene's most versatile artists these days, is teaming up with fellow Austrian Jump Up Kingpin Skore once again to deliver their follow-up collab to 2017's smash hit "Powertool", which has been sported by the likes of Annix or Hamilton and made huge waves throughout the whole scene.

Doing a reckless time warp to the Eighties, Dorian & Skore are taking it back to those pioneering days of wireframe aesthetics and Arcade gaming glory. Time to enter the grid when drums start pumping, carried by staggering FM bass triplets and iconic Electro Disco sounds, ready to conquer Bitmap Hyper-Reality when the lead theme is sneaking in. Having premiered on Pendulum's One Mix podcast last July, "Retro Driver" is now about to sweep over the masses, so be sure to toggle Auto-Fire on and hit that button.

Lingering on the Flip side, a somewhat darker "Cyberpunk" opens up with a heavy half timing intro, full of dystopian soundscapes and vivid Blade Runner-esque imagery about to be stripped off and blow up as a bone-dry tech stepper, with neck snapping drums and biting bass stabs getting your chaos engines started. Badboy business for sure, brutal deluxe!
