After his last single on Mainframe Recordings & a feature on the latest Drum&Bass Arena Compilation, Funk Effect makes his comeback on the Austrian Label with two gems, which will definitely break apart your dancing shoes.

On the A-Side, the title-track ‘Balistic’ starts off with a trappy intro dragged by mysterious vocals, giving you an idea about what’s following. Funk Effect brings his signature driving basslines, whilst intelligently showing off his new sharp production skills.

On the flipside, ‘Turning Back’ is built upon by striking note progressions, a relaying of patterns which chop and change the mix. Preciously placed snippets add impact, with emphasis given on each break, carrying the track forward down a steep drop with each slab of bass.
