CEO, Ahnna Alise has been grinding since 2008 and she is just getting started making power moves in the industry.  UrbanLax Entertainment prides itself on music of underground artists, producers and others in the music industry and use the internet to connect them to the world.  Ahnna Alise was born in Lansing, MI. Growing up her parents constantly played a lot of gospel and jazz. Even with that surrounding, she focused on her love of basketball more then anything. It wasn’t until her parents were divorced when she started getting into different styles of music.     Music took her to a place of relaxation and diverted her mind from the hurt and confusion. Her music collection expanded with some of the hottest Hip Hop and R&B artists, beginning with "Evolution"by Boyz II Men. Ahnna would even sneak some of DJ Quick's albums into the house even though it was strictly against her mothers rules.    By the time she started high school, Ahnna was selling cd’s from her collection out of her backpack! She had a passion for getting good music to the people. Throughout her high school career basketball was still her main focus despite everything else. It wasn’t until two knee injuries that started her to think about other career paths.    Ahnna attended Northwood University, majoring in Entertainment and Sports Promotion Management. She quickly became the “go to” person on campus for music and album reviews. Northwood was the place where she found out exactly what career she wanted to pursue. Ahnna had to figure out how turn her love of music into a career. With Northwood’s teachings, her focused entrepreneurial spirit, "UrbanLax Entertainment" was born.    Networking with many people in the entertainment industry helped define the purpose for UrbanLax Entertainment. Her passion quickly became taking the most unknown artist and getting their music exposure. This would become the driving force behind her company. Ahnna Alise’s hard work and hustle is finally paying off and taking UrbanLax Entertainment to new heights.

BIO: For French producer and DJ Lazy Flow, dancing is not at all a trivial matter. It is a demanding art, which sows beautiful madness in the genre, connects all styles of dance-floor history, and is a one-way flight to a future that perfectly reflects what is becoming of his generation. As a lover of the Ballroom scene as much as a passionate proponent of Shatta, the icon Gala and Baile Funk, he toys masterfully with the sounds of the African Continent, the US East Coast, South America, England and the West Indies, all-the-while speaking to a gender fluid, diverse youth, doing so in the most universal, compelling language: that of energy.

Lazy Flow’s DJ sets are celebrations, collective catharsis, led by dancers who follow him everywhere and push their bodies to the limit to do justice to his music.

His secret is perfect mastery of rhythms inherited from the pioneers of House, the icons of Ballroom (to which he upholds law of the land like no one else), the jerking of Baile Funk, Afro, UK Bass, Bouyon, and Jersey Club. This technical virtuosity, combined with hard daily work in the studio, gives his performances something tantalizing, rare, both demanding and unifying.

As a true, blue boy of his generation, he is inhabited by curiosity, by this incandescent passion which makes his path perfectly unique. His audience knows it, they follow him, celebrate him in France and around the world, and exponentially grow in figures, fill the gaps, and do away with excess in front of his turntables, with which he alone knows how to converse so well.

A set by Lazy Flow is utterly electrifying, familiar, easy to follow, and wonderfully confusing.

His productions, little grails that DJ’s trade to enlighten the dancefloor, are not to be outdone. His edits of hits, or his own finds, are incredibly modern deconstructions, and his compositions never let go, like his pieces produced with/for Yamê, Marina Satti, Vladimir Cauchemar, Pongo, Meryl, Maureen, Disiz, Féfé, Jarreau Vandal, Kiddy Smile,… All the feelings are merged, and the dance must never stop.

Lazy Flow’s latest EP, Paris Bouillon Club, conceived and crafted when clubs around the world had to shut down due to the pandemic, encapsulates his influences and his journey. As eclectic, bold and open-minded as its creator, it’s infused with Baile Funk, Afro-Trap and Vogue beats. Lazy Flow’s productions are enhanced by stunning vocal performances from Congolese singer Popaul Amisi, English-Japanese performer Shala, and European ballroom scene legend Matyouz. The EP is also a tribute to LA CREOLE, the feverish Parisian party Lazy Flow was a resident for the last five years.

Lately, Lazy Flow has put together The Lazy Flow Show, along with a powerful MC and two limitless dancers. This unique live experiment, inclusive, festive and educational, is the perfect extrapolation of a universe like no other and It’s taking over more and more festivals across Europe.

Ypsilanti, Michigan’s own golden child, Kendall Tucker, bka 14KT, is a multi-talented Artist/Producer/DJ. His musical roots came from growing up singing in the church choir. It was there and by studying his parent’s jazz and soul records, along with piano and upright bass lessons, Kendall learned the fundamentals of music.

14KT got his start as 1/7th of this mighty Hip-hop collective, The Athletic Mic League. He started out as an emcee, inspired by the sounds of Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Gangstarr, A Tribe Called Quest and Outkast. Finding it hard to get instrumental beats, KT started using the “Pause/Play/Record” method, by looping breaks on cassette tapes so the crew could rap over them. 

14KT’s solo career began in 2008. After a rich history with AML, he entered and won his first beat battle competition, in Red Bull Big Tune Detroit. Later that year, he released his debut instrumental LP, “The Golden Hour [Soundtrack].” The Golden Hour made its mark appearing on many year-end “top albums” lists. Okayplayer said “this is the sort of striking project that can singlehandedly create an artists following.” And so it did.

14KT is the last Big Tune national champion, which he went on to win in 2010.
He’s worked with the likes of Aloe Blacc, Black Milk, Bun B, Danny Brown, Elzhi, Jay Electronica, JMSN, Masta Ace, Mayer Hawthorne, Legendary Motown Funk Brothers guitarist Dennis Coffey and many others. His music was featured in the DVD for Michael Rapaport’s A Tribe Called Quest documentary, “Beats, Rhymes, & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest.” Live, he’s rocked with the Stones Throw crew, at Low End Theory, SXSW, on tour with Mayer Hawthorne, Slum Village, and across the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia.

To date, 14KT has released seven solo albums, as well as his collaborative Hip-hop album, "Takin Ls" with emcee Ozay Moore,  R&B/Soul album, “Saturn Return” with singer/songwriter AB, and “The Big Knock”, together with Mayer Hawthorne as the “Beat Wave” group Jaded Incorporated [Universal Republic/Casablanca Records]. Jaded Incorporated was born out of their mutual adoration for the Post-Punk and New Wave music of the early 1980′s, and Ghettotech music in the 90′s Detroit scene.

14KT is currently revving up to release another duo collaboration album with Michigan rapper Ro Spit, entitled "RSXGLD" to be released in 2017.
