Philip Punzo, professionally known as DJ Punzo, is an accomplished Italian-American DJ, remixer, and video DJ from Philadelphia, PA. Immersed in music since his teenage years, DJ Punzo began his journey at the age of 14, and by 16, he turned his passion into a professional career. Known for his dynamic mixing, high-energy performances, and innovative remixes, DJ Punzo continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

In 2003, DJ Punzo co-founded Digitraxx Remix with a group of DJ's, an underground remix service that gained immense popularity among DJs and music enthusiasts online. His contributions to remix culture remain influential, and Digitraxx is fondly remembered as a pioneering platform.

In 2006, DJ Punzo joined the renowned Drama Squad DJs, collaborating with industry heavyweights such as DJ Pauly D, DJ Biggie, DJ N9ne, Sugashane, DeToto and others. That same year, he became a remixer for Drama Mix & Select Mix/Hot Tracks Remix Service, creating edits that DJs across the globe still spin today. Among his standout works is the blend “Better Off the Way I Are,” which achieved viral success on YouTube, and still gains widespread success for more than 15 years.

In 2007, Punzo co-created Nocturnal, a late-night radio show on Philly's Q102, which showcased electrifying dance, house, and trance tracks which aired on the weekends. He also became a resident DJ at top venues across Philadelphia, including Club 27, Bamboo Bar, and Chickie’s & Pete’s, where he continues to hold a residency.

DJ Punzo’s accolades include collaborations with world-famous DJ BeatBreaker and holding the top spot on Hollywood Hamilton’s Remix Top 30 for four consecutive weeks with his edit of “Mood” by 24kGoldn and Iann Dior.

Today, DJ Punzo serves as the MD and Mixshow DJ for Radio Danz, the world’s premier dance channel based in Miami, FL and PD & MD for EQ Radio. You can find most of his edits on XMiX Remix Service. His show, Nocturnal Vibes, streams globally on SoundCloud, iHeartRadio, and other major platforms, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in the dance music scene.

Music has always been an inspiration, it’s powerful and speaks character, love for electronic dance music, growing up in Los Angeles, Hard house, rave scenes were the thing back home, growing up in the 90s at age it was one of the favorite genres and every time the opportunity comes at his parents car and cousins car, there would be some hard house, house, techno, it would be something to zone out to and jam, owned some cassettes from DJ Juanito feat. Lina Santiago-Feels so good, “Planet Soul- Planet Soul and Feel The music”, shoot, DJ Enrie and Gera Pera aka Dj Sinners cassette with mixes he put together, Peter The Rocks cousin. Fast forwarding to 2002 is when he received his first DJ gear, 2 studio monitors 2 American DJ cd decks and a 2 channel mixer from Gemini. Started mixing at 15 it’s been a dream playing in front of an audience to watch them dance and feel that energetic vibe and therapy. In 2019 Peter The Rock, LA Native moved to Omaha Nebraska, found a local bar called Bar 415 on Facebook, the owner has a few local DJs and out of state as well as internationally has them playing underground,techno and tech house, and the bar owner hooked it up to do a set in Omaha. From being 7 years old started listening to the classics techno, House, hard House and from age 15 started mixing to other types of electronic dance to being a resident in Omaha with an opportunity to bring the LA vibes which is what Omaha needs and continue the dream to bring techno, House and including the classics of when it started at age 7 by listening the radio and became an inspiration to continue the underground vibes, bring everyone together and just dance!! Keeping the Underground Alive!
