GRIM is a creative and unconventional musician  over 20 years of experience in music business. Starting with 90s jungle sounds, she moved on to psy trance and Goa, and finally to minimal techno, Dub and Dubstep where she sought out driving sounds. She began producing music at the end of 2009 with Logic Pro and continued until she found a DAW that met her requirements. With various appearances on radio shows such as Steppas Choice, Sunday Soldiers and Wednesday Madness, she was actively involved in the scene until 2013, when she took a break to focus on her private life – which lasted until 2024. With the release of "LIFE", she made her comeback and successfully followed up with further releases. From November 2024 onwards, she skilfully asserted herself and impressed her listeners right from the start with her sets, mixing and track selection. She re-established herself in the scene and the first requests for collaborations were not long in coming. With her first collaboration with Jungleraiders and the subsequent 44Erbs collaboration, she was able to realise her interpretation of hard breaks and the old-school jungletribe. Further releases followed on Bandcamp under SUBYARD, where she joined in 2024 with a 50% stake and is helping to lead and drive it forward. It goes without saying that GRIM is an exceptional talent – a valuable part of the suburban music scene.

Owner / Label Head of Labelless Records pushing the jungle sound strictly on vinyl and the host of a bi-weekly show on www.jungletrain.net on alternating Sundays from 19:00-20:30 EDT / (aka 7-8:30pm EST) / 1-2:30 CEST.  

The show is titled "The Way Back" and will occasionally feature guest DJ's.  Show recordings will be uploaded to Soundcloud  & occasionally Mixcloud for archiving.

Also representing local Columbus OH. record shop Roots Records which has been a staple to the local Vinyl / CD / Tape culture and Reggae / HipHop / Electronic Music scenes in Columbus since the mid 90's to the present. You can also request to come into the shop outside of these hours and we may be able to schedule an opening.
