Morgan Wright spent his youth playing metal and hardcore-punk, before adopting dance music as a means of working alone. After a series of EPs on Pelvis Records he releases in June 2021 his first album ‘Class Tourist’, which reflect his skills and background and curiosity to push dance music to its emotional limits.

Founder of Global Warming Records, Rinse FM France resident DJ, also artist manager and festival AD, this hyperactive and mysterious man proclaims his love for worldwide electronic music, blending deep bass and ethnic rhythms with hints of melancholy and ethereal sounds. Raised in France both between Scottish and Argentinian roots, the voracious digger have also been heard as remixer for labels as Kump or Abstract Records, and will release his first EP in a few months on Abstraxion’s Biologic Records. For this special 44100Hz Radio journey, expect an uncommon mix of slow acid breaks, dystopian dancehall, dark electronica and dark dub grooves, loaded with unreleased and rarities from planet earth and maybe others.

He stared into the cup of coffee in front of him, twirling the spoon slowly with his finger. This time he felt guilt, he knew he'd gone too far. The power he had over people seemed to be slowly consuming him. At first he had enjoyed it. Who wouldn't want others doing their every bidding? Never having to lift a finger had become the norm, but this time he'd asked too much. There was no coming back from this...

Following up their joint release from Pletnev and Panorama Channel earlier this year, Biologic Records welcome a new producer to the family, Global Warming boss Malcolm. The label head and Rinse FM DJ has showcased his curatorial abilities via both these mediums, and continues that refined ear through his production work on his Baptem EP. Complete with a remix from LuckyMe affiliate Nathan Micay and a moody collaboration with Parisian vocalist and producer ڭليثرGlitter٥٥, the collection of tracks displays Malcolm's deep-rooted influences in bass, soundsystem, rave and techno.

DJ and producer Malcolm came to our attention through his tastefully curated label, Global Warming Records, a platform that are making the end of the world sound just as they like it — just how we like it too.

Since starting the imprint Malcolm has brought friends and new producers into the fold, the likes of Ouai Stéphane, N-ERGY, Jon Beige and Sutja Gutierrez, who have all showcased their own take on dub-wise atmospherics, dystopian bass experiments and heavy syncopated rhythms.

Freshly moved from Paris to London (literally - he got off the plane a couple of days ago), Malcolm brings a touch of the dystopian and cinematic to his own productions too, which have landed on labels like Abstrack and Biologic.

Not one to churn out mixes regularly, he's prepared something very special for us. Weaving together obscurities and unreleased edits finished especially for this, Malcolm shares the moods and sounds at the core of what he does.

Malcolm arrives fresh on the London scene after honing his craft in the French underground club scene, sculpting a richly textured sonic identity that moves in both tense and cinematic universes.

As much inspired by sci-fi scores as 90’s rave culture, this prolific producer blends heavy ethnic rhythms and monstrous drums with hints of melancholy and ethereal sounds, crafting his own take on bass music with richly-textured low-tempo tracks and remixes that have already snagged interest from the likes of Ben UFO, Lena Willikens and Trevor Jackson, and entered the playlists of BBC Radio 6, Radio Nova and Rinse France.
