Inspired by the works of Japanese artist Tsutomu Nihei, Megastructure / The Return is a two-track single that merges aspects of film-score storytelling and heavy dancefloor hitters, built within the world of futuristic neurofunk drum and bass.

The EP forthcoming from BORDERS signifies the start of another career under the ProgRAM banner. An imprint which has stood on its own as part of the drum & bass world’s underbelly for over a decade, they pride themselves in bringing through names who soon go on to become staples across the DJing circuit. And with BORDERS forthcoming ‘Pheneomena’ EP, the Netherlands based producer cuts his place within the label's own books and continues the label’s legacy in delivering fresh talent to their fan base.

The static, layered sonics of ‘Geyser’ rolls out first, with ‘Paradigm’ and its cranking chaotic bass riffs coming in second place. ‘Imperium’ remains inside the chaos with soaring synth pads and ‘Seraphim’ ends the EP with a more harmonic twist on the producer’s signature. An insight into the innovation which BORDERS has at his disposal, it’s once again time to get with the ProgRAM. With the ‘Phenomena’ package igniting a new wave of production standards within the ProgRAM camp.
