"Il suivra ces cours l’université de Santa Monica College. Cette école lui  permet, au bout de 2 ans, d’avoir le statut de tuteur d’italien et de français. Il aura, ainsi, l'occasion de faire la connaissance d'étudiants  venus de pays différents. C’est, d’ailleurs, l’un de ces étudiants qui lui a présenté celui qui est devenu son partenaire au sein du groupe Global Talk, un certain Jesus Florido.C’est grâce à ses études que Malek Eye a réussi à monter ce qui deviendra l’un des meilleurs duos de rappeurs de la Côte Est. En parallèle, il accumule les diplômes en langues tout en collaborant avec plusieurs artistes dont les 814bc, groupe tunisien de reggae avec lequel Malek a monté un duo de grande qualité. Sur l’un de leurs morceaux « Don’t walk on the grass » Malek rape en espagnol/Italien/Francais/Anglais.

Ses paroles sont très engagées socialement et même parfois politiquement. Dénonçant les injustices sociales, les guerres, la famine, l’absence d’aide aux démunis, il scande haut et fort ce que d’autres pensent tout bas. Loin de la scène musicale commerciale, Global Talk offre un produit musical de qualité avec des paroles intenses et des sonorités inspirées de styles musicaux très variés. Il est, en effet, très influencé par ses racines arabes mais aussi par les cultures et les musiques italienne, espagnole et américaine.
C’est petit à petit que Malek évoluera et fera évoluer sa musique pour, qu’enfin, il arrive à une réelle reconnaissance de ses pairs.

De nouvreaux horizons

S'étant produit en Afrique, en Amérique et même en Europe, il a à son palmarès un nombre impressionnant de représentations. Mais Malek ne compte pas s’arrêter là et prévoit de chanter sur la scène mythique du Festival Burning Man a Black Rock City au Nevada.

Pour ceux qui ne le savent pas, ce festival est un espace d’expression artistique brute. Quelle que soit sa forme, tout art est le bienvenu. Mais les organisateurs veille à ce que les artistes conviés soient d’une grande qualité pour assurer le succès de ce festival et par conséquent en confirmer la réputation. Sa présence, donc, sur les planches du festival confirme sa notoriété aux États-Unis, lui qui est considéré comme « un artiste à voir » par le journal L.A Weekly.

Qu’il soit aux USA ou en Tunisie, Malek n'est jamais à court d'idées. Il a des projets musicaux avec plusieurs artistes américains tel que Shapes of Sound et travaillera également en Tunisie, au Mad Art de Carthage. Mais, il n’est pas qu’un rappeur. Poète et acteur, il jongle avec les disciplines artistiques sans mal, aucun.

I've been able to open up for Too Short, RZA, Krs One, Talib Kweli, Devin the Dude, ?uestlove, Digable Planets, Cappadonna, Willie D, Strong Arm Steady, Mystic, DJ Peanut Butter Wolf, DJ Spooky and DJ Klever. Also rocked the stage with plenty of Austin's best DJ's.
