Berlin based and immersed into the techno and queer club scene since years, Radical Softness’s project name comes from the movement with the same name, which advocates the open disclosure of all forms of emotions, whether positive or negative and the embrace of vulnerability as a strength. She is similarly activist and tries to share it with her music. Her driving sets combine groovy, punchy, oldschool, cheering and fast.
For this podcast she’s taking you on a journey within her 90s trance and early rave repertoire.

Not only an outstanding producer and the creator of MANA001 but also a class A digger and DJ + head honcho of @area127, a place focused on artist collabos and rough live takes while catching the flow, the moment. Psicotek started to make electronic music 4 years ago. But that was not the start of his musical journey as he is playing piano since the age of 6. Nowadays he is known for his live productions inspired by 90’s trance artists such as Gary D, Legend B, or Timo Maas but also by modern Skandi-Trance and ambient records. His music is always a product of trying out new ways of sound design by putting the sounds in different contexts and the limitations of an all-hardware setup. Thereby he is prioritizing a special groove and interesting sounds within a track. Better keep an eye open to don’t miss out on his upcoming releases within the next few months.

Pianeti Sintetici ('synthetic planets' in Italian) is a new conceptual project by Davide Perrone (Primal Code) that draws inspiration from the factories of Magrathea, a planet in Douglas Adams' classic space opera The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where artificial planets are manufactured on commission.

“This concept has always fascinated me, and I chose the name to frame a hypothetical future of synthetic worlds, told with sound,' Davide says. 'I like to imagine the howls of creatures inhabiting solar systems outside our own. Rarefied atmospheres, alien sequences, and unfamiliar tonal scales. So, I see Pianeti Sintetici as an open-ended design research project where I can explore these inspirations.”

Pianeti Sintetici already has three stand out releases on the legendary Hypnus records and has played a string of mind bending shows, including this mix, which is a live set from the 2023 edition of Positive Education. Tune in for high fidelity alien psychadelia teased over hypnotizing interstellar grooves 👽👾🛸
