The duo places an emphasis on Neo 80's synthwave, britpop, punk rock, and indie pop. Manic at midnight also experiments with other genres and does consider themselves held down by any musical style. Primary Influences include The Weeknd, Machine Gun Kelly, The 1975, and The Midnight.

Jah-Femi Telewa is a poet, rapper, composer, songwriter, author, inventor, and philosopher whose work has earned recognition across literature and music.
