Inspired by Front 242, Skinny Puppy and Clock DVA, Arno and Tibor were fellow students at the Center of Electronic Music (CEM) in Arnhem, Netherlands during the mid 80's.

After getting a record deal with the Belgian Antler Subway, and started producing their first EP, originally meant as EBM. But since they were in the middle of proceeding, they took the chance to incorporate some of those influences in their first record, 'Force D'Inquisition', in 1990, which became one of the earliest Dutch house records.

Track A2 is the legendary 'Apocalypse', which was quite a hit at the time both in the EBM and acid scene, with gentlemen like Frankie Knuckles playing it in his sets.
Arno Peeters was later part of Random XS and Urban Electro and worked solo as Spasms on Djax-Up-Beats.

Voltage Control - Apocalypse

Masacre is based in a true story : During the year 1968 before the Olympic Games, on October the 2nd, a crowd of students rises their voices against the repression of the Mexican government. During the movement, the Mexican government used police, military and paramilitary forces, killing 400 students in the plaza de las tres culturas in Mexico City, this event is known as “the Tlatelolco massacre”.

Solar Flex draws inspiration from 90s club oriented dance music and sets moods from laid back outdoors to prime time club nights and after hours. On the A-side ‘Stepping Toward Zen’ prepares for the mental workout with shivering chants that gain consciousness to rhythmic tablas and spacious bleeps. Next, mysterious energies set free with ‘Entropica’ unfolding its wobbly dub baseline to the enigma of pitched cymbals and robo-rhythms aligned by the steady-state of a bouncing four-to-the-floor 909 kick. ‘Supernature’ pops the B-side with a more club-oriented electro-trance blended stomper soothed by watery pads that set a pause before straight breaks and alien leads ask for their sweaty tributes. Finishing off, ‘Tablagauze’ primes for after hours with a gnarly downtempo chugger speckled with overdriven analogue drums and hypnotic acid arpeggios.

Nascido na periferia de São Paulo, Lucas Novaes é DJ, músico e produtor. Seu estilo e pesquisa são baseados em EBM e Dark Disco, gêneros que refletem na criação de sons influenciados pela atmosfera dos anos 80. Surgindo como DJ em festas pioneiras de música eletrônica alternativa no interior de São Paulo, Lucas evoluiu para uma nova perspectiva sonora, trazendo música para ambientes que vão além da pista de dança. Como produtor, dedicou-se a lançar em diferentes latitudes. Suas melodias são esculpidas com sintetizadores arpejados e sequências que apontam para uma atmosfera mais intensa e cósmica.
