Although 2017 was the first year he has been serious about making making music, he has been performing since 2015. Step Back J has opened for up and coming artists as well as some big time artists such as Philthy Rich, Joe Moses and Nef The Pharaoh. With Step Back J's versatile style and creative punch lines, he truly turns hip hop into his own art. His music will cover anything from a good time at a part to more serious issues around the globe. Spreading the good vibes and having fun is the goal, and his music is the key.
