Happy to announce the release of Daniel Haaksman ´s new single "Flora" which is out today!
Though autumn is in full swing in the Northern hemisphere and the results of the US elections are more than depressing, it´s time to let confidence and beauty blossom. Let "Flora" be the soundtrack for it!

With "Flora", Daniel returns to bass music after 12 months of releasing strictly vintage music and edits. His new track is defined by a strong groove inspired by current rhythms from Portugal, Brasil and Angola which he blended with classic orchestral strings in the manner of his earlier releases „Overture“,„Vem“ or "Magma". An additional rolling house piano and a surprise glockenspiel break peppered by a baile funk MC beatboxing adds up to the dense, hyperpop style multi-genre-mix that "Flora" fascinatingly embodies. Though the times are grim, let´s make minds and dancefloors bloom - with "Flora"!

On her sparse yet entrancing remix of Syrian singer Saria El-Sawas’ beloved “Bas Esma3 Minni”, Loris (@lorisms)  gives Sawas’ voice center stage. Echoing around a swooning drum track, El-Sawas’ assertive plea sounds as irresistible as ever.

In this first of many compilation releases to come, some remixes reinterpret pop songs from the last decade while others reconfigure classics from the Tarab repertoire for the dancefloor. What they share is a spirit of experimentation and genre-bending that characterizes Laylit’s approach to percussive electronic music.

This collaboration has its roots all the way back in 2020, when the Desmond crew and DANN first started working together. What began as production work for others quickly evolved into a shared creative journey—fueled by friendship and a mutual love for music.

In November 2024 DANN hosted a writing camp on Ibiza, inviting several talented producers—including Desmond to create freely and experiment. During the very first session “everybody” was born. From the moment the track came together they knew it had something special.
Blending classic UK Garage grooves with a funky rhythm and bass-heavy drive, “everybody” hits hard in the club, but still feels right at home through your headphones. The catchy vocal gives it a familiar / hooky feel—striking the perfect balance between energy and emotion.

The track has already caught the attention of key names in the scene, including Saint Ludo, and now after some fine-tuning it’s finally ready to be shared with the world!

Superhero by day, producer/dj by night Gan Gah hits us hard again with his second EP for Lowup records. With a relentless energy he presents a set of original material of Moroccan sonorities perfectly framed within an actual club context. His aim is simple achieve trance & frenzy on the global dancefloors, he won’t rest until the universe is conquered.

After a first successful release Souktronics on Lowup, he now presents his second EP Chaabitronics. Ahwach Riddim, Ahwach refers to the music of the berber villages in the Atlas mountains and integrates folkloric elements of berber music into a smooth running UK bass riddim, perfectly setting the tone for the rest of the EP. Taktoka, is a tribute to the leader of the fans of Agadir’s soccer team HUSA, blending chaâbi elements with a ternary rhythm achieving a trance like state topped off by a haunting melody. Daâwa, literally meaning mess and things do get messy & wild. With elements of the Northern regions of Morocco - think - a Raggada rhythm with loads of Darbouka and a wobbly bassline pushing the listener further into an ascending trance. Kind of like a meeting between the Chemical Brothers & Omar Souleyman getting out of control. Last up is Bsahtek, the most adventurous track of the four, achieving a perfect balance between a diverse set of modern club aesthetics and more traditional elements, often used during the celebration of marriages, it leaves you in a state of perfect bliss & harmony.
