our main character is stuck in a mundane existence, and enveloped in a cloud of oppressive pessimism (expressed musically as much as lyrically).  yet he’s struggling with a vague remembrance of better days (of blue skies)... politically, the song is a critique of tactics used to obscure the past (to cloud our remembrance of better times) — to limit expectations, and diminish hope. “1984” simultaneously references the better days of past, and the dystopia described in Orwell’s “1984”, which suddenly feels all too familiar...

«Я ВІДДАМ»: КОРОТКОМЕТРАЖНЕ КІНО НА НОВУ ПІСНЮ KOZAK SYSTEM
 Kozak System недовго відпочивали після Нацвібору Євробачення і, окрім активної підготовки до сольного концерту, вже в перший день весни презентували відео на нову пісню «Я віддам». Слова до неї написав незмінний автор відомих хітів Kozak System, письменник Сергій Жадан. А от відеокліп вийшов не зовсім «традиційним» для козаків: на екрані розгортається драма почуттів, вплетена у трихвилинну музичну історію.

Відеокліп «Я віддам» - це свого роду короткометражне кіно.  Тут немає звичної гри музикантів і традиційних синхронів. Натомість є діалоги і монологи без музичного супроводу; лінія, яку грають актори, та навіть художня лінія, яку відіграє той чи інший колір. 

«Завдання було непросте: розповісти історію за три хвилини так, щоб слухач не лише захотів послухати і подивитися її ще раз, а також виніс з побаченого щось особисто для себе, - каже режисер відео Alex Sigalov, - я не відриваю музику і відео одне від одного - вони мають бути «дуетом». І якщо це вдається – задум успішний. «Вінегрет» із силіконових beauty - шотів, дорогих локацій і безглуздих кітчевих прийомів мене, ані як глядача, ані як режисера ніколи не цікавив».

Alex Sigalov – призер кінематографічних нагород, серед яких Cesar Awards, German Design Award та ін. Серед його робіт – ролики для таких відомих світових брендів як Mercedes, Otto, Estée Lauder, Marionnaud, PEZ, Velux, ÖAMTC, BMVIT. Цього разу він вирішив спробувати себе в амплуа кліпмейкера і запропонував співпрацю відомому українському гурту Kozak System. Працює режисер в Австрії. І саме там він вирішив втілити сценарій пісні, яка його надихнула своєю «справжністю». 

«У пісні "Я віддам" мене одразу ж зачепила щирість. Це не просто слова, проспівані вокалістом – це реально прожита історія і це відчувається. Саме тому для свого кліпу я обрав цю пісню» - коментує співпрацю режисер. 

До речі, відео буде презентоване на фестивалі VIS Vienna Independent Shorts - щогорічному фестивалі короткометражного кіно у Відні. 


Вже за місяць, 30 березня, Kozak System презентують свою нову, четверту платівку «Не Моя» (куди також увійде і трек «Я віддам») під час сольного концерту в столичному клубі Atlas.
