Growing up in her home country of Israel in the early 2000s, RONA's formative and adolescence years were musically influenced by the vocal trance movement which was prominent at the turn of the millennium. The world's largest festivals and superclubs were dominated by the sound; a euphoric, high energy brand of dance music which was being led by the genre's treadsetters in Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, ATB, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk and more. Released in 2006 as part of their ‘Tri-state' album, ‘Can't Sleep' remains one of Above & Beyond's most recognizable songs, reaching number three in the year's ‘Best Track' polls, while showing a familiar emotional lean which has made the band so beloved across the last two decades. Now, looking to pay tribute to the iconic song, RONA unveils her cover of ‘Can't Sleep' just in time for the summer club and festival season.

While keeping the spirit of the original nicely intact, RONA brings a more modern sensibility to ‘Can't Sleep'. RONA is a Singer ,electronic music producer, DJ and label owner of @mantravibrations based in Israel. 

Inspired by iconic producers such as Above & Beyond , Armin Van Buuren and Hans Zimmer, at the age of 7 Rona developed an interest in vocal trance and classical music, which she ended up studying later. She grew up listening to the all-time greats, such as Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, to name a few, which serve as her inspiration to this day.

At the age of 20 Rona started studying music production, and over the years she has developed her own unique sound and direction, which she is perfecting constantly. Her approach is independent and she does it all on her own. Her vocal tone is soulful, which envelops in her melodic productions to give a uniquely beautiful sound to her music.

The content of her music speak of consciousness, sound, and the ability to connect with yourself in spite of difficulties. There is a spiritual statement with a danceable sound - an interesting and entertaining combination that definitely delivers her message of connection to the self through the vibrations of sound.
