After almost 20 years of relationship, marriage and parenthood, their musical journey together is still very young, but all the more intense in seductive intimacy and hypnotic embrace. Thursday afternoons Tea and Coffee service at The Fractal Chill Ethiopian Tea and Coffee house was like being in a glorious Temple but in a Futuristic Utopian Paradise. I swear there was a Regal Queen in all her majesty there. I saw authentic Bushmen Shaman partaking of the sacred chalice of herbs and projecting benedictions of blessings and love to each other in brotherhood. My goodness I saw a naked Sumerian Princess dancing to my track that i recently made and i almost melted into the ground☺. Her beautiful, smooth, divine, feminine curves moved and jiggled directly in proportion to the mid frequency range and percussion i have been trying to equalize for weeks. It was wonderful to say the least. I watched people enter the door, there were extraterrestrial star people walking in with fairies and apocalyptic desert travellers all comfortable for the Tea and Coffee Ritual. The music emerged out of this spectacle before me as i was reading the crowd and playing out some of my beautiful curation according to what the mood was manifesting. A panoply of musical genres painted the silence presenting a love affair ranging from downtempo across the mid and mid + tempo range. Today we are happy to announce Alex Bass, better known as „D33P“, as our latest member in our bartender team.  

Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Alex has a broad experience in the electronic music business with releases on noteworthy labels and under various aliases (such as Colorless).  

After founding his own graphic design company and the birth of his daughter two years ago, it got quite around D33P and releases or guest sets became very rare.  

We are happy to have him back today with a declicious Jack Rose, packed with deep and techy sounds, mixed exclusively for Schirmchendrink. And we are looking forward to new D33P grooves coming up on his own imprint D33P Music.

Was wird wohl mit unseren Protagonisten auf der Insel, die ihn einst so unliebsam aufgenommen hat, passieren? Simon Rucker gewährt uns einen weiteren kleinen Einblick in seine liebevoll aufgebaute Parallelwelt. Umrahmt wird die Episode von Guzy. Der das ruhige Leben auf der Insel und die daraus ergebenen Gedankenspiele mit seinem atmosphärischen Sound wunderbar einfängt.

Maria wartete irgendwo am Ende der Welt auf mich. In Stuttgart war es vermutlich inzwischen Herbst geworden. Hier brannte die tropische Sonne auf meine stählernen Schultern. Vom Klettern und Bauen war ich stark geworden. Ich mochte meinen Körper, berührte ihn gerne. Vielleicht wartete sie auch nicht. Ich hatte mir keine Robinson-Strichliste erstellt, nahm an, dass ich seit etwa zweieinhalb Monaten hier war. Sie wartete nicht. Wozu auch. Ich musste in ihren Augen tot sein. Sie hatte mich nie gebraucht. Ich hatte sie immer vermisst. Ich stellte mir vor, dass sie das gleiche machte wie immer. Dachte von Zeit zu Zeit an mich. Aber dann auch mal nicht.

Es war das 21. Jahrhundert. Wie lange konnte es dauern, bis ich hier gefunden würde? Höchstens fünf, sechs Monate hatte ich mir berechnet. Dann hätte ich auf irgendeinem Radarschirm oder Computersatellitenprogramm leuchten und piepen müssen. Kein Zweifel. Dann wäre man mich holen gekommen. Ich hätte unter Jubel und Glückwünschen auf dem Schlossplatz meine Geschichte erzählt. Maria wäre auch da gewesen. Aber es wäre mir egal gewesen. Denn ich wäre frei gewesen. Hätte der einsame Wolf sein können. Hätte nicht mehr darauf warten müssen, dass sie mich zu lieben begänne. Mein Bart wäre lang gewesen, die Haut braun. Viele Worte hätte ich nicht verloren. Zurück in die Business-Welt wäre ich nicht mehr gekehrt. Es reichte. Ein für alle Mal. Stattdessen wäre ich auf meiner Veranda gesessen und hätte Bücher geschrieben über meine einsame Insel. Bestseller nach Bestseller.

Auf einer Lichtung am Waldrand über dem Strand hatte ich mein Haus errichtet. Es lag wie auf einem kleinen Balkon über dem Meer. Zwischen Sand und den Klippen. Mein Haus bestand aus Palmenwedeln und dicken Ästen, die ich im Wald gefunden hatte. Befestigt durch Steine so schwer, dass ich sie gerade noch tragen konnte. Ob die Konstruktion einem Tropensturm standhielte, wusste ich damals noch nicht, war aber guter Dinge. Im Innern gab es so viel Platz, dass ich aufrecht stehen konnte und mein Bett aus Zweigen und Blättern lag an der hinteren Wand. Bei Regen war es trocken, den Wind hielt es ab und von den Sonnenstrahlen drang wenig hinein.
Und dann sah ich es...
