Manual Music proudly presents Jaap Ligthart's debut album 'Itaka'.

In Jaap's own words:
Itaka stands for ‘influence’. On this album you can hear the different influences cities, countries, styles and artists had on me. In the 20 years I’m DJing and producing I developed my taste in music by traveling the world, meeting new people, seeing old friends and listening to new artists but also the living legends among us, which I tried to translate into this album. 

I began producing the album early 2020 in Prague, right after my last gig before the lockdown. And now, things in clubland are opening up little by little and it’s time to get it out in the open…

Productor y Dj Chileno, ha podido plasmar su selección musical en la capital chilena. Fundador de @austral-kollektiv. Ha participado en distintas fiestas y clubes de la capital (Bar Loreto, Onaciu, Sala Italia, Club Room, Nave Luna, Espacio 93,  Santiago Rooftop, Mapocho Bailable, Fondamental, Montemapu Festival, Santo Remedio). En la Vta Región de Valparaíso (Fiesta ilegal, Club Voyager, Club La Sala, OrigenValp). Además del ciclo de microfiestas impartidas por el mismo Austral Kollektiv. Ha compartido cabina junto a Djs y productores internacionales como Budakid, Giz, Bebetta, Sebuky, Jinjerei y Claudio Arditti; a la vez también con los nacionales Inti Kunza, Joseph De La Cruz, Rodrigo Gallardo, Matanza, Elektrompe, Ahau, Arkay Koo, Chomba, Pulli vu, Un Chucao, Looprana, Re-Parra, Groovearth, Nico Castro, Dj Haiti). Ha participado como colaborador en el ciclo de fiestas Agrupación Salvaje (Un Chucao), Rave salvaje (Looprana), Nación Stream (Elektrompe), Fondamental, HouTec. Ha lanzado Eps en sellos nacionales como @newlatambeats y @tchamma-yapu. Ep en el sello internacional @threerecordsuk.

Marc de Koning  His music style varies from deep and energetic house to underground progressive tech house. With this deep love & appreciation of house music, he began to produce his own music.	

In 2014 his music career took a turn for the better when Dimitri Kneppers, the pioneer of house music in the Netherlands began to incorporate Marc’s music into his sets. 

2014 brought another DJ blessing into the mix for Marc met Luke Santos, a well loved & talented DJ from Argentina who now lives in Amsterdam. They clicked and have been pro ducing music together ever since.

Marc de Koning is presently a resident DJ at RLGC44 (Recycle Lounge Gallery Club) in Amsterdam.
