With the world slowly but surely opening up again, and with summer events on our doorstep, the Dutch duo provide just what we need. Proper positive sounding festival vibes!

On remix duties we welcome one of the hottest names of the moment, Lauren Mia who has created nearly each sound of her version from scratch, and we also welcome back Serhan Guney who always delivers something uplifting.

Following the massive success of Omniverse, which saw support from some of the biggest names in the scene and reached the Beatport progressive house Top 10, Second Sine returns to Yomo Records with a stunning 3-track EP.

I Was There is a driving progressive gem featuring Andrej's signature sounds including heavy percussion, techy stabs, and atmospheric textures atop an irresistible groove.

Tape Wreck is even more on the techy side of the genre and immediately grabs you with its rolling bassline and cavernous synth stabs. The break with its haunting, complex harmonies allows you to take a little breather before the pounding beats drop back in again.

Within My Heart once again showcases Second Sine's immens production skills. With its lush, almost housey chords and sprinkles of reversed saxophone the track is a deeper affair, yet with enough punch to keep you going on the dancefloor.

Audiofly’s Supernature label has been at the forefront of a certain type of esoteric sound within the electronic music scene since 2007, and has been instrumental in bringing artists like Solomun, Davide Squillace, Bedouin and Martin Buttrich to international exposure.  And as the label looks forward to its fifteenth-year anniversary, the taste for mystical and organic house sounds seems to be as resolute as ever, with a whole new legion of producers and DJs getting hooked into this musical movement. 

Taken from the Persian word for ‘together’, Baham is a multimedia project led by the  Montreal based artists The Doctors.  Houman Farzin & Kam Kafi, bringing together elements of  folk music reinterpreted through electronica. , Within the spirit of togetherness as part of their  artistic remit, they collaborate with vocalist and visual artist Zem on the ‘I Am Love’ EP, their debut for  Supernature supported by remixes from their longtime friends

Built upon a solid percussive rhythm , ‘I Am Love’ plays it sparsely, as an elemental bass  and drum combo anchor a colourful and kaleidoscopic mix of sweet vocals from Turkish lore, reverberating  bass clarinet and an injection space echo FX to a lovely mid-section break.  Anthony Middleton,  one half of the Audiofly team, delivers a solo effort with his ‘Reconstruction Mix’, deploying an  irresistible driving bass groove and a sophisticated final sheen to this stellar remix. 

As on the lead track, ‘Man Of Nature’ equally plays it stripped back, as the song title’s narrative is seductively serenaded over soft drums and floating keys for an intelligent and affectional production.  Wild Dark and Ariaano team up for a remix here that offers up a decidedly more brooding atmosphere, as the Spanish guitar and percussive rhythms are extenuated beautifully.

Itaka stands for ‘influence’. On this album you can hear the different influences cities, countries, styles and artists had on me. In the 20 years I’m DJing and producing I developed my taste in music by traveling the world, meeting new people, seeing old friends and listening to new artists but also the living legends among us, which I tried to translate into this album. 

I began producing the album early 2020 in Prague, right after my last gig before the lockdown. And now, things in clubland are opening up little by little and it’s time to get it out in the open…

Polish producer Enigmatic provides the 80th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital with two new tracks titled "He Looked So Happy" and "Hidden Dimension", accompanied by an expertly crafted remix from Mass Digital.

An established artist from the ancient city of Poznan in central Poland, Mariusz Czarniak is no stranger to the electronic music scene. Through his Enigmatic production alias, he has been a regular across clubs in Warsaw, Poznan, and Gdansk alongside such celebrated names as Jonas Saalbach and Budakid. A portfolio that includes well over a century of production credits stretching back almost 15 years is no less impressive, featuring releases on Traum, Saturn Return, 3rd Avenue, trndmsk, and Electronic Tree, run by fellow countryman Tuxedo.

A rich sonic palette paints a vivid Organic House picture in "He Looked So Happy" that drives forward with pumping sidechain compression. A glistening array of motifs generate sublime counterpoint phrasing that sees a chiming arpeggio sequence come to the fore at the breakdown alongside beautiful ambient effects. Picking up pace again in the second half, the combination of rhythm and melody is a joy to behold and a perfect summer antidote.

"Hidden Dimension" provides a deeper Progressive House vibe with its cavernous rolling bassline, metronomic kick, and offbeat percussion. Intelligently arranged melodic phrasing adds depth while textured pads, filtered arpeggio, and white noise washes create tension and emotion at the midpoint. Hitting its stride in the second half, Enigmatic delivers a pulsating summer stormer of a track.

With an enviable production portfolio, Boris Mijolic is as prolific as he is talented. Through a decade-long career and 700+ production credits to his name as Mass Digital, the Serbian has continued to find his music aligned to the very finest underground imprints such as All Day I Dream, Kindisch, Akbal, TRYBESof, Bar25, Sol Selectas, and Toolroom. His label debut is a hugely impressive offering that expands and builds on the elements found in "He Looked So Happy". Taking the central chiming arpeggio as a backdrop, new chord progressions and melodic percussive patterns play off each other with smooth vocal breaths and a whistling glissando motif. The result is a laidback Organic House offering that showcases Mass Digital's creativity and technique in abundance.
