Teeming with flair and charm, two redoubtable heavyweights of the scene - rave pioneer Sasha and house music star Kölsch - have come together to release a sun-drenched single titled 'The Lights'. It is the third official release on Kölsch's IPSO imprint and follows two previous collaborative releases from the Danish producer with Michael Mayer and Tiga.

Having already gained support from Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 program, 'The Lights' is an expertly crafted progressive track that allows each producer's signature style to shine through with true majesty and delight.

Arias has packed a lot into his years. Since breaking onto the scene in 2013 he’s now signed music to a cross section of melodic labels from Replug to Anjunadeep. Enjoying months of chart action with his debut for Sudbeat, we welcome Ezequiel back for the ‘Amnesia EP’.

Opening with ‘Amnesia’, melodics slowly reveal themselves against a sparse percussive groove. Becoming more expansive over time, the sonics take on a story-telling dynamic, ebbing and flowing throughout. Starting innocently, ‘Images of Time’ is a subtle groove that lingers with intent. The main break offers the big reveal and the track springs into life. Finally, ‘Paradies’ opens with dream-like atmospheres which come to an epic conclusion in the break. Mind music par excellence!

Canada’s Tim Penner joins the label with the sensational ‘Counting Sails EP’.

Toronto-based Tim Penner broke onto the scene back in 2011 and quickly rose through the ranks to have music signed to JOOF, Replug, microCastle and more culminating in his Beatport #1 album in November last year, and a coveted Mixmag Album of the Month accolade. Beginning his own label, Slideways, in 2014 he diversified seamlessly into behind the scenes business as well as continuing to excite the crowds with his incendiary DJ sets. An artist dedicated to the intricacies of production fuelled by his passion and love for music.

Opening with ‘Counting Sails’, dark textures, sparse percussion and airy pads create a rich tapestry of sound ebbing and flowing with the beat. Reaching fever pitch midway, wonky bells and nuanced FX add tension. On ‘Flight of Antibes’, field recordings and found sounds create a unique texture and feel. Gaining pace with melodics midway the main break is an oasis of calm amid the chaos. Finally on ‘Aksidents’ tribal rhythms show a darker side to the Penner sound. Warm and expansive, it weaves a tale of deepness with evolving sonics that transport the listener in a way only Tim Penner can.
