Kiss + Tell Invites: Connor Wall

Command Control’s debut EP, ‘Essence’, kicks off with ‘Snappd’. First heard on Freddy K’s Krzrzrz radio show in 2022, its peak-time rhythms and tumbling chords finally see a release on our upstart Brussels-via-London label. It’s followed by the classic-in-the-making title track, ‘Essence’, featuring an old-school ‘90s vocal, stripped-back techno drums, and dubbed-out synth work, making for an earworm hit that will find a home in a wide range of DJ sets.

Up next, Command Control’s ‘Nazar’ picks up pace. Steady bells keep the tempo as its hammering drums punch through, leaving ‘Essence’s dub elements behind for a high-energy, tear-out techno workout. Closing out this versatile offering from the promising London-based artist, ‘Saklikent’ then takes us on a real trip through dubby sonics, complete with sizzling high hats and mind-warping melodies.
