OVER 001 - MiniCoolBoyz and NHB - That's OVER!

Italian Techno prodigies MiniCoolBoyz and NHB join forces together on this incendiary 3 track EP on their recently born label Over. A new point of reference in the underground scene worldwide, the imprint stands out as a true-to-the-roots and no-compromise music outlet: this very first release sees the guys come up with some blasting and punchy cuts, heavy-as-fuck and menacingly stomping through the speakers and the dancefloors. Opener “Over”’s skizoid synth squeals and oozing satanic atmospheres are underpinned by a gigantic kick drum and mammoth bass line; “Placebo”’s raging stabs and macabre melodies build a wall of sound as big as you can imagine, and the fat low frequencies smash through the sonic spectrum to a pumping flow of energy. Closing “Knowless” slows down momentarily the pace to a trippy vibe, and the result is a black paranoid lullaby. These cats know their tricks, and we can’t wait to hear more from this project.

Many Reasons’ recent hit Pandora (released on their own Amazing Records) gets the special remix treatment by some of the label’s cohorts. Zakari & Blange add some extra punch to the original, with a blast of eerie atmospheric synthesizers on top and percussions to keep the rhythm flowing. The NHB guys step it up a notch: their rework’s massive kick drum and in- your-face wall of sound push things to the limit, creating a new beast that will wreak havoc with a lot of dance floors all over the place.

2000 and One's Best Of Series Vol. 26 (Big Room) Techno Pt. IV

Mysterious producer Virtual Reality is self-releasing two LPs: the 'Galaxi Zoo' & 'Hidden Galaxi' volumes. The two albums are part of the same body of work and are the products of months spent in the studio, mostly during the tough lockdown imposed on Italy in the Spring of 2020.
Virtual Reality split albums mix a variety of influences going from Aphex Twin and Squarepusher to Detroit and Early Berlin Techno scenes, from Drexcyia to Burial. Each track is carefully crafted in the studio with the use of analogue machines and recorded natural sounds to keep a fantastic Industrial feel to it. This heterogeneous mixture of genres, sounds, art forms is the perfect exemplification of the infinite variety of elements that compose galaxies - the theme behind Virtual Reality's latest body of work.
The project is also full of personal and intimate moments and is a truly heartfelt piece of music, also due to the fact it's dedicated to someone close to the artist who unfortunately is not with us anymore.
Be ready to travel sonically with Virtual Reality's LPs 'Galaxi Zoo' & 'Hidden Galaxi' - out both in physical and digital format in January 2021 and March 2021
