The MiniCoolBoyz make a big comeback to their beloved home label today, and announce an exclusive, limited edition series of vinyl releases that will showcase their new sound and direction. 300 copies, every one a 180 grams colored disc, 3 tracks each: simple and effective, the new work starts off with 3 techno bangers, hot as fire and damn ass-kicking right there. TRIPTYCH # 1 opens with "I Was There": a galloping bass line and eerie background ambiences are matched by dark vocals and percussive fills, until the ghostly break slows the pace down to a spooky vibe. "Vet"'s bright hi-pitched percussions open up the mood for a classic club stomper: the steady kick drum flow keeps going on and on to show that there's not let down from the 'Boyz. "Mexico D.F."'s brutal rhythm is techno at its purest, with extra-terrestrial laser noises leading the dance to a fierce burst of raw power. As everybody knows, the 'Boyz had their big breakthrough in 2008 when Richie Hawtin included their remix of Varese Ist Leer in his much praised "Sounds From Can Elles" compilation. Unlike most of their fellow producers who appeared on the same v/a though, they kept on riding very high after that, establishing themselves as respected producers, with releases on Dubfire's super label SCI+TEC Digital Audio, Saved, Form and many others, and as a dj duo who went on to perform at some of Europe's most famous clubs and festivals. Beside, they founded Amazing Records, which served as a canvas for their creativity and that spawned the career of several new upcoming young talents. Once again, they are doin' things here their own way: uncompromising, by themselves, without asking anyone. Always looking forward, they keep the spark that brought them where they are now. Their hunger for new visions and new sounds has lead them to experiment and to reinvent themselves: the minimal years are strong and rooted in their history, and now it's time to move on. Mysterious producer Virtual Reality is self-releasing two LPs: the 'Galaxi Zoo' & 'Hidden Galaxi' volumes. The two albums are part of the same body of work and are the products of months spent in the studio, mostly during the tough lockdown imposed on Italy in the Spring of 2020.
Virtual Reality split albums mix a variety of influences going from Aphex Twin and Squarepusher to Detroit and Early Berlin Techno scenes, from Drexcyia to Burial. Each track is carefully crafted in the studio with the use of analogue machines and recorded natural sounds to keep a fantastic Industrial feel to it. This heterogeneous mixture of genres, sounds, art forms is the perfect exemplification of the infinite variety of elements that compose galaxies - the theme behind Virtual Reality's latest body of work.
The project is also full of personal and intimate moments and is a truly heartfelt piece of music, also due to the fact it's dedicated to someone close to the artist who unfortunately is not with us anymore.

Ce jeune Marseillais découvre la musique électronique à son adolescence, ayant au préalable baigné dans tous styles musicaux possibles et inimaginables ! Mélomane donc depuis sa tendre enfance ce surdoué des platines oriente ses choix dans les bacs, d'abord vers des sonorités assez minimales et ensuite Tech-house, mais il arrivera très vite à des sons plus techno et cette musique deviendra son domaine de prédilection. 
D’ailleurs il développe une technique de mix numérique à 4 decks résolument Techno !

En 2015, c’est la révélation : les sonorités percutantes de la Tech-house et le groove qui s’en dégagent, lui correspondent plus. C’est le retour d’un mix à 2 tracks sur platines CD’s, puissance et précision sont de rigueur !
Les répertoires Deep, House, & Tech-house sont désormais le quotidien de ses bacs.

Ainsi, chaque jour,  ll s’investit un peu plus dans sa passion du son, ce qui lui donnera l'occasion de se produire dans des clubs comme le Baby à Marseille, le Pigallion à Paris ou encore la Villa Rouge à Montpellier sans oublier le fameux Spartacus Club à Aix en Provence !!
Malgré son jeune âge SNAPBACK a partagé la scène du Spartacus aux côtés de nombreux artistes faisant partie de notre TOP100 Beatport : Deborah Deluca, Kevin Over, Emanuel Satie, Raffa FL, Dennis Cruz, Mihalis Safras, Matthias Tanzmann ou encore Mihai Popoviciu au festival des Voiles Sonores à Six-Fours (83), Jack de Marseille au festival des Terrasses Music’Art à Lauris (84).
