Following the albums "Lessons In Dub" (2012) and "Kontrollverlust" (2017) Leipzig based DJ and producer Marc DePulse now presents his 3rd artist album: Together Alone

The album title reflects the global sentiments surrounding the last two years while being confined indoors. It plays with the opposites of togetherness and aloneness. Being socially distanced during lockdown at home while all together stuck in the same situation individual aloneness was experienced as a collectively felt togetherness.

Therefore the idea behind Together Alone was engaging highly respected artists and friends from all over the planet for a collaborative project which Marc DePulse describes as "a colored box full of high-quality standards and with a lot of great stories inside".

Woven between the intro "Allein" (eng. alone) and the outro "Zusammen" (eng. together) the album captures stories of collectively felt emotions elicited by the pandemic.

The 13 tracks by 12 different artists highlight that despite all hardships we are never alone. This phenomena is represented by track 8 called ZIMWA, derived from the German sentence "Zusammen ist man weniger allein" (eng. Together you are less alone).

For the collaborative LP the artists got virtually together into the studio with Marc DePulse, exchanging stems, sharing parts, making video calls, chatting – simply doing things that were possible during the lockdown period.

Together Alone contains music from club to Easy Listening, from EBM to Breaks, from Pop to Tech – music to remember and heartfelt messages that will not be forgotten so fast.

We're all in this together. Not alone.

'An artist who continues to impress with a growing portfolio of high-calibre music, Hot TuneiK returns to Proton Music with the striking twin-track "Circles of You". Remixes come courtesy of Hungarian and Argentinean stars.

DJ, producer, promoter and record label owner, Hot TuneiK has found himself at the forefront of Mexico's underground dance scene. Unforgettable Hookah showcase events and a unique brand of deep and progressive house have seen regular appearances for the likes of Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue and Particles amount to almost 300 production credits. An April 2018 EP for Proton Music shone a spotlight on the Hot TuneiK name before remixes from Lanvary and Matter continued the "Revival". Now returning, the flowing melodic lines of "Circles of You" meander enticingly before a deep beat and rich percussion filter into range. Building majestically, a simple grooved arpeggio provides another rhythmic anchor before extending in range into the third movement. White-noise washes add to the overall character in an elegant work. Partner track, "Melancolia", opens with a deep and flowing rhythm that hypnotises with its muted melodic underpinning. Weaving a magical spell, cadenced arpeggios and freeform string and key motifs are sprinkled liberally across the upper frequencies to mesmerising effect before joining forces with the sumptuous rhythm in the second half.'

Our big kahuna Marc Martinez aka AFFKT proves again that he is not afraid of going against the rules with his open-minded Cold Sweat EP for Sincopat. Three powerful original tracks plus an exquisite remix by the Mexican amazing talent Theus Mago.
Fireworks light up with 'Samorra', a strong electronic piece with hypnotic bass and outstanding filters, be sure that the test in the club will reach madness. On remix duties we got the eclectic and innovative Theus Mago delivering a really huge re-interpretation of the track, adding even more organic flavoured notes to the picture. AFFKT keeps the high level on 'Llobarro', the secret weapon of the EP with a bunch of 'out of space' synths. 'Beetlejuice' is the dessert of these timeless menu, and it offers some surprising sounds and noises in an incredible breakdown.

The process - From Music to unique Art-Vinyl 

As part of our holistic concept every Vinyl is a unique piece of art.
Our releasing artists have the chance to paint their own cover art on a mosaic of 4x4 blank Vinyl covers, which we use as a big canvas. 

This entire picture is then used to create the album cover for the digital release and vinyl production. To make each vinyl unique, we decided to hand paint the cover lines on the front cover of every vinyl. So you can become the owner of a small piece of art & music. The vinyls are also limited and numbered. So better be fast!
