Paying homage to the iconic 1987 Freestyle Music/Latin Freestyle hit by Company B, he has now infused "Fascinated" with a modern twist, pulsating baselines and thrilling rhythms, creating a sonic journey and delivering a captivating indie dance anthem that will transport you to the golden era of dance music. 

Added to the release, DJ/Producer, music selector and label honcho David Gausa, wanted to give his own vision by making two powerful remixes. Su conexión con la música electrónica inicia el año 2015 como espectadora. En el 2018 comenzó a interiorizarse en las mezclas del género Progressive house. Sus principales influencias internacionales fueron Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Guy Mantzur y Tale of Us; y los artistas locales Mariano Mellino y Analog Jungs.
Compartió cabina sureña con Aquariandj en Krund Bar, en Ushuaia y en los ciclos electrónicos locales como Blacksheep, Belalugosi, Pulse electronic club, 
Cazona Casa Club, Sunset en la city (Legrand/Selina), Rooftop por Sonorum con artistas locales como Mauro Augugliaro del sello Sudbeat, Luciano Le Bihan, Axel Zambrano, Mac Paez, Evegrem, Magik, Valen Vázquez, Jess Pedernera, Jimena Tortul entre otros. Y también con el artista internacional Kebin Van Reeken (NL) en el ciclo electrónico de Lookme experience.
Al presente propone versatilidad en sus estilos musicales fluyendo con los sonidos voladores y el groove del Progressive house y el Melodic techno.

Marçal Prats is a newcomer Dj and producer. Originally from Barcelona, he is based in London following his endless aim for achieving new creative challenges. In addition to his productions and mixes, he is an established graphic designer and enthusiast photographer.

On 14th July 2023, Marçal releases on Sutil Records (@sutilrecords-sutilvox) his latest production, 'Fascinated' paying homage to the iconic 1987 freestyle disco hit by 'Company B', Marçal has infused "Fascinated" with a modern twist, delivering a captivating dance anthem that will transport you to the golden era of dance music. In 2002, Marçal Prats released in Barcelona his first Tech-house remix for London singer and actress Linda John-Pierre's song 'Night People'. 

Marçal started his interest in electronic music in the 80s, fascinated by High-Energy, Italo-Dance, and its hypnotic arpeggiated baselines. He was soon seduced by the birth of House Music and the crunchy 303 analogue sounds of Acid-House. In the mid-90s, during his first visit to London, he was again seduced by Drum&Bass, Big Beat, and IDM.  In 1995, he won his first remix contest. In the first half of the 2000s, Deep Progressive House became his favourite electronic choice. Marçal continues combining his role as a designer with his devotion to music. As he works on new productions, he has released a series of DJ mixes where he brings together the tracks that have influenced him since the turn of the century.
