Basmati re-releases "Lava Lava" by John Spring, a club-hit from 2007 originally released on Sub Static, which received the attention of Sven Väth who picked it for his annual mix CD "The Sound Of The Eighth Season".

Over the last years Basmati owner Gabriel Ananda and his friend Marcel Janovsky teamed up back2back for numerous DJ gigs and the track became a classic in their sets. While the guys were touring the idea was born to do remixes and re-release "Lava Lava" on Basmati. The result is a remix by Falko Brocksieper from Sub Static who remixed the track to his typical style. Gabriel and Marcel deliver their mix with lot´s of "plug-in passion" and playful parts.

January 2014 a dvd-documentation has been produced and released by Achim Rütt (Artigfilm) and i´ve played a special classic set at the film-premiere party in Cologne. It was much fun doing the journey with all the people who have the same history as i had - more than 20 years Techno. The party went really really crazy and the old rave-feeling was back! Thanks to Peiki, Oli and the PollerWiesen-Team.

Tale Of Us have been on everyone's lips since their epic remix of Thugfucker's 'Disco Gnome' and here they bring the same balearic house vibe to 'Is This Goodbye?' - one of the most emotional tunes on the album. Swedish house queen La Fleur takes things up a gear or two and drops a floor bomb with her mix of 'Soft Synth'. Funk infused bass and a slammer of a beat, this is pure peak hour material from the finest order. Neil Terry - Very good package, plain and simple. I love the original of 'Is This Goodbye' and dare I say that the TOU remix is as good as if not better? Just pushes all the right buttons for me, warm druggy House with that bubbling bottom end that is kind of en vogue right now (no bad thing). Will definitely be playing this out. Second favourite of the cuts is the Sabb mix of 'Blissful Ignorance', percussion, pianos and synths are really well programmed to make it a nice early night or early morning blissed out groover.

Odonien is an artwork in total, in which different artists are putting their influences together.
The place is growing with a ratio of creativity and structure in balance.
It is a very special place to transport feelings especially while the sun rises behind all those art pieces. 
So Dirk Sid Eno expressed that specialty in his track by using many of the rusted metal sculptures as percussion elements.
For example, he used the skeleton of a metal dinosaur as a xylophone or an old oil barrel as a kick drum. 
On top there is an mind blowing Nicone Remix. It shows his very own impressions he got from playing different open airs in this stunning location.
