StevieMQueen beats to his own drum. The self-taught drummer of obscure rock bands spent the greater half of his life producing heavy, sleazy and sweaty stoner rock. But with his insatiable interest in synthesizer sounds and electronic music, he inevitably swapped his drum sticks for a dj-set. 

StevieMQueen effortlessly mixes the steaming, sturdy beats of Electro, Techno and House with his profound love for Indie Dance, Italo Disco, World Music and obscure sounds. After transforming his attic into a synthesizer sanctuary, he soon took the stage to work his eclectic magic; leaving whole audiences in puddles of sweat -just the way he likes it.

Italo Deviance (real name Marcello Giordani) began his artistic journey in the
1990s in Italy, during the height of the House Music phenomenon. He was an
avid attendee of record fairs, always on the hunt for USA-style Disco vinyl,
amassing an extensive collection. He also performed at some of Italy’s best
parties, such as Cocoricò, Echoes, Matis, Kinki and more.

In the early 2000s, he developed a passion for and began collecting Italo
Disco vinyl, often for just a few cents. In 2008, he founded a blog called Italo
Deviance with the mission of promoting the most obscure tracks and
versions of early 1980s Italian dance music.

From 2011 to 2023, he became part of the duo Marvin & Guy, which has
since evolved into Circle Point Circle. At the start of 2024, Marcello resumed
work on his label, Italo Deviance Music, embarking on a rebranding effort.
This new phase explores underground electronic music without sticking to a
specific genre, discovering and producing talented artists in both digital and
vinyl formats. He places no particular emphasis on their social media hype,
focusing solely on the music.

This philosophy gave rise to the motto:
“Italo Deviance, where only the music matters.”
