Just like "Analog Funk", the foundation of this song was developed by Impulse, who supplied some of sounds through the Arcade plugin. These particular tracks were later condensed into a single .m4a file, a process that took multiple attempts to complete. This alleviated the need to download the Arcade plugin onto my computer but also came at the expense of restricted control over individual instrument parameters. Granted, this was a sacrifice we willingly made.

I asked Impulse to record Digital Funk at a slightly faster tempo than Analog Funk to reflect the hurried nature of the digital world. On my end, I restructured some chord changes and section durations and carved out brand new passages for more variety.

The aim is to be Original, that is my theme throughout of all my Compositions, that I Create what is coming from me and writing it down has I hear it, I have pursued this with Perseverance in my Music for a long time, and have learned a lot from generating ideas and listening to how Chords work in relation to one another over the years ,I love the Classics and a Lot of Musicians play the pieces of Music that someone else wrote and Created, I don't It's my Work and glad that I Composed it. With influences ranging from the lofi pop of Guided by Voices, the gothic melodrama of Nick Cave, the glam of Bowie and the nakedness of Iggy Pop - this is Marc Freak.  Former frontman of Freak Circus and Dead Joe.  An experiment in DIY and lofi.  The odd bum note here, the even odder bum note there.  But with art do we care?
