Marckel of Mars (born December 21, 1993) is an American singer-songwriter, and producer from Buffalo, NY. Globally recognized for his songwriting, and ethereal vocal techniques, Marckel is among the most acclaimed indie artists of his generation.  

Marckel began his musical career in 2007 with the release of his original music on social media platforms. With increasing popularity over the years and his music acquiring 5 million + plays worldwide, Marckel began releasing music on all digital media platforms in 2013, with the release of his debut album “Fighting Gravity”. In 2014, Marckel released his critically successful sophomore album, Galaxy, making it one of the most acclaimed records of the year.  Subsequently, he relocated to Los Angeles to begin work in the music business, writing lyrics and recording background vocals for creatives such as 7X Grammy Award Winning Artist - Gladys Knight and 3X Grammy Award Winning Producer - Symbolyc One who is responsible for songs produced on Kanye, Drake, Beyonce, and many more.  

In 2020, Marckel released his debut album “God” under the new alias, “Marckel of Mars”. Deriving from the meaning of his name which is: “Of Mars; the god of war”, the alias was created as an avenue for Marckel to express the sentiments of his true nature: a spiritual being in a human existence. He comes with a message of determination, self-acceptance, and creativity, geared towards people like himself: the creatives, the spirituals, and the visionaries.
