Opening Set At Love Gatherings 2024

Re-recording of my set on July 20, 2024 @ Subrosa in Calgary, AB, Canada

One of my favourite mixes of all time - The Brothers In Rhythm Easter Hotmix for BBC Radio 1 (Pete Tong) 30 minutes of perfectly mixed dance music fire. I distinctly remember listening & recording it on my ghetto blaster and consequently wearing out the tape. 

I've long had the idea of recreating the mix as most copies online are cassette rips from '93 complete with 1FM jingles! 

I decided rather than just redo it, I would expand on it. Tracking down the original versions and extending the original mix from 30 minutes to CD length adding in extra tunes from that era either side of the original and put together as if I was mixing it back in my bedroom as a 17 year old in 1993. 

Hope you enjoy and mad props to Dave Seaman compiling the original mix back in the day.

2024.08.03 - Foolie @ Space Yacht - Audio • San Francisco, CA

I'm super stoked to be able to share my set from this year's epic San Francisco Decompression on Saturday October 19, the official end to the 2019 Burning Man season and beginning of the road to 2020.  Opulent Temple and Duck Pond collaborated on what will be known as the biggest, baddest stage at Decom of all time!  We brought our O-Pod and fire effects; it was the closest thing to the real Burning Man experience we've ever done.  We were ON FIRE... literally! 

I had a ridiculously fun time rocking a birthday set and poofing the fire after Syd Gris at 10pm.  I hope this House/Bass House/Future House set with some crowd pleasers and a nostalgic throwback at the end will make you bop your head and shake your booty.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! 🔥🙌🏼🎂❤️

Marcus Gaudreau is from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Literally the middle of nowhere. Look it up on a map.  He lives and breathes house music. 

He always enjoys being the life of the party the ultimate hype man.  He thought what better way to get the attention of people then to be the voice and the energy of the room - the dj.  He first got into spinning for friends birthdays and it took off from there. No one could say his last name, typical Frenchie. So people just called him Goodie. They also used to make fun of his rough blue collar hands and ironically called them smooth. Putting two and two together Goodiesmooth was born.
