Marcus Scott (aka) Groove Control.

From a very young age music has been a huge part of Marcus's life, growing up with the sounds of Motown, Soul, Funk and Disco, at this early stage the love for music just began and continued as he learnt to play the piano and keyboards. Marcus, developed musically and started to discover Electronic Music from the likes of Africa Bombata, Man Parrish and the Jazz Funkster, Herbie Hancock which took him on a more experimental musical journey. Moving on now a couple of years to the Summer of Love of 1988 Chicago House and Acid House became a massive influence and Marcus began to produce his early tracks with the use of a Akai 750 sampler and Atari ST.....

In 1994 he brought his first pair of turntables 1210’s and started his collection of House Music, mainly imports from the United States, Influences being Body & Soul, MAW and Kerri Chandler to name a few. Since that time Marcus has been Dj-ing at clubs, venues and private parties across the UK with House Music being projected to his audience with the style and sound that is
