Subsquad Prod. présente le cinquième volet de sa série de compilation, les CITY SQUAD, qui mettent en lumière une ville et ses artistes avec des morceaux exclusifs, le tout en téléchargement libre.
Après Bordeaux, Grenoble, Marseille/Aix et Lille, ce nouvel opus présente 10 artistes de Rennes et alentours. Vous pouvez également découvrir, sur la page dédiée sur notre site internet, la liste des Sound Systems locaux ainsi qu'un court historique du Dub dans la région.
L'artwork est signé Irie Design, le mastering Subsquad Prod.

Comme toujours, la compilation est téléchargeable gratuitement, mais vous pouvez faire un don via Bandcamp pour nous aider à pérenniser le projet !

Subsquad Prod present the fifth part of our serie of compilation, the CITY SQUAD. Each part will present the dub makers of a city (and its surroundings) through a compilation of exclusive tunes that will be available for free download.

After Bordeaux, Grenoble, Marseille/Aix & Lille, this new part is dedicated to Rennes and her neighborhood, and presents 10 producers from this area. You can also discover, on our website, a list of local Sound Systems and a short historic of Dub in this department.

The artwork is realized by Irie Design, the mastering by Subsquad Prod.
As usual, the compilation is available freely, but you can donate on Bandcamp to support us & help to perpetuate the project.

Artiste reggae aux influences atmosphériques, Digital Lover rend hommage, dans son deuxième opus, à la culture Dub en confiant les pistes de son 1er EP "Derangement" à un musicien féru du style : Olivier Blanchard aka The Dubmaker. 

Ce nouvel EP, baptisé “Derangement Dub”, propose une nouvelle lecture des morceaux de Digital Lover à travers des versions dubbées enregistrées en live au sein du studio de The Dubmaker à l'aide de ses nombreux appareils, comme le veut la grande tradition du Dub, à l'instar d'artistes comme King Tubby ou Lee Scratch Perry. 

Comme une seconde naissance, "Derangement Dub" donne un nouveau souffle aux chansons du 1er EP.

Reggae artist with atmospheric influences, Digital Lover pays homage, in his second opus, to the Dub culture by entrusting the tracks of his 1st EP "Derangement" to a musician keen on the style: Olivier Blanchard aka The Dubmaker.

This new EP, called "Derangement Dub", offers a new reading of Digital Lover's tracks through dubbed versions recorded live in The Dubmaker's studio using its many devices, as is the great tradition. Dub, like artists like King Tubby or Lee Scratch Perry.

Marée BASS est une association loi 1901 dont le principe est simple : partager et soutenir les musiques à BASS amplifiées ainsi que la culture Sound System.
Depuis 2011 que l'asso existe, elle n'a cessé de croître grâce à un élan de passion qui vise à mettre les producteurs de musiques du genre travaillant en Home Studio sur les devants de la scène. Souvent axée sur le Dub, le Stepper ou encore le Dubstep, Marée BASS flirte aussi avec l'Abstract, le Hip-Hop ou encore la House et l'IDM.
L'éclectisme de l'asso, à l'image de ses fondateurs, génére une force et une volonté de partage relativement unique. De nombreux projets transpirent de cette organisation : Concerts dans les bars (chez nous, chez vous, peu importe !!), Webradio, réalisations de compilations ou encore d'Ep, réalisation d'un blog/site web... Et tout cela grâce à des artistes dans toute la France (et au-delà !!) qui nous font confiance et en qui nous croyons !!
Marée BASS raisonne en terme d'équipe avec ses artistes et tente de proposer les meilleures sauces accoustiques pour un public toujours plus intéréssé...
