‘Fire in the Sea!’ is an Irish-Americana album from Maria Shiel from Galway, Ireland.
(Release date 12th September 2020)

'Fire in the Sea!' is inspired by the Atlantic ocean and the landscapes of America. It is the story of connection between ancient races; musical letters of love from Ireland to America and an homage to the great elements of life: fire and sea.

"The album showcases Maria’s own esoteric take on 'trans-atlantic sea-folk' exploring the boundaries of time and the human connection with land, sea and music through multi-generational migration". (Not Bad)

Old tune from 2014. Wrote it while driving 6000 miles alone across the country, taking time lapse photos of the milky way and some landscapes in the day while living out of a tent. A whiskey and guitar were always in hand.
