‘Nandakke?’ is the anticipated debut album from Japanese-Belgian duo @ailimakesmusic on @eskimorecordings, featuring 10 tracks of surreal electro-pop, joyful electronica, house music and more. 

Lead track ‘Nandakke?’ is sung in the unique version of Japanese that singer Aili Maruyama and her father created to stay connected when she left Tokyo for Europe aged seven. The song goes out to all people with families living in different countries who are finding a way to stay in touch even when language is a barrier. 

“‘Nandakke?’ Is a Japanese word that roughly translates to "Well, what was it?”, often used when you are looking for a specific word," says Aili. "The song is about the language I speak with my dad, a mix of French and Japanese."

A collaboration between Greco-German duo Local Suicide, and Argentinian Panko brings this sexy and dark single that mixes both worlds, with some Latin percussions, a groovy baseline, and Spanish vocals. The feeling on it evokes the sensation of stepping into a club, where the euphoric, sensual energy of the dance floor envelops you in ecstasy and the night's journey, intoxicated by the music, surrendering to the urge to dance without inhibition or the need for words.

Greco-German Vamparela and Brax Moody of unstoppable DJ and producer duo and couple Local Suicide do not believe in half measures for their music. In addition to maintaining careers in the music industry, and pu ing on some of the most infamous underground parties Berlin has to offer, these two are still finding time to make waves with their productions and drive live audiences into a frenzy not just in their chosen hometown of Berlin but across all four corners of the world. A wild fusion of new wave, acid, slow techno, EBM, and dark disco is what defines the signature Local Suicide sound. These propulsive grooves have recently been woven into releases with the likes of influential artists such as Rodion, Mijo, Theus Mago, and Curses, winning them overwhelming support across the board from the music press and prolific DJs. 2022 marked the next stepping stone on their journey to worldwide cobra wave and technodisco takeover with their debut album "Eros Anikate" on their own label Iptamenos Discos and a series of Remixes 12"s. Ben Smith is the Australian-based artist called Templé, who introduces a fusion of sound from disco’s past and techno’s future in his ‘Who You Are’ EP. It is set for release under his newly launched imprint, Templé Musiq created as a home for his own releases. The EP features the vocal talents of Quartz Pistol, Giacomo Gutilla and Dan Tyler on horns, and a remix by the King of the nu disco, Prins Thomas. Along with these collaborators Luke Million has jumped on the final mix down and production, adding a sprinkle of his hifi disco magic across the EP. 
 
Templé has released previously on Prins Thomas’s Internasjonal no less, and on Midnight Riot & Black Riot.  He has shared the decks with a ton of great acts down under like Rick Wilhite, Osunlade, Trus’me, Rahaan, Alkalino, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Hidden Spheres and Harvey Sutherland. During these plays ‘Who You Are’ has been well and truly tried, tested, and stamped!
 
The opener storms out of the gate with its 303-acid line and drum machine build up. Prins Thomas provides a shimmering rework of the title cut, this luminary of the electronic scene adds his Nordic magic the way that only he knows how, delicately weaving his disco sensibilities into the original, flipping it on its head, and stirring up all those magical disco feels. ‘Wait For Love’ is a powerhouse tune that is driven by rolling acid lines and a saxophone solo that lands right in the sweet spot.  Closing out is ‘The Tetrah’, a departure from the rest of the EP. It's deeper and more intricate side features a soulful interplay of sax and trumpet that tease and tantalize each other, never quite aligning until the final drop.

'Musica E Computer' is a momentous release from Slow Motion label head Fabrizio Mammarella and Rodion recorded in the legendary Marche Synth Museum (Museo Del Synth Marchigiano).
A fully functional recording space that houses a fusion of several private collections of Italian electronic musical instruments gathered over the many years since their creation. The Marche region, being home to some of the most ground-breaking and foundational instruments, has created the likes of Crumar, Farfisa and Elka with innovative use from the likes of Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd and Vangelis.

The opening track ‘Iris’ sets the exceptional tone for this release. Fully exploring the realms within the Marche with an eerie, metallic tropical soundscape showing their discoveries' breadth. ‘A Corrente Alternata’ brings us back to Mammerella and Rodion’s revered partnership as unmatched creators of enigmatic, timeless earworms. The driving bassline sits beautifully within the characterfully saturated drums and tweets of an equally enigmatic synthesiser.

‘Un Segnale Di Speranza‘ launches us into the infectious, mind-bending signature arps of Mammerella and the rising harmonies of Rodion, with another ground-shattering bassline and arcane vocoders that transport you to peak time at Slow Motion’s Italorama Bar. ‘Musica E Computer’s’ soundscapes provide rich blends of the synthetic and organic sounds of the Italian region, acting as a geographic coda that can also be heard in ‘La Domenica Del Villaggio’.

‘La Memoria Dei Sistemi’ slips us back into the energetic, electronic environment that Rodion and Mammerella have so delicately crafted. Driving us through the celestial alchemy of this atmospheric track, which leads us to the chiming finish of ‘Una Nuova Era’. This ties together a transcendent homage to Musica E Computer’s recording surroundings and a bar-setting conclusion to another captivating masterpiece from the duo.

Sydney-based breakout artist @willomp3 returns with her next EP, 'watching a memory', exploring themes of connection, nostalgia and solitude across seven tracks on @futureclassic.

‘reverie (start of something)’ kicks off the EP with ambient-leaning soundscapes and dreamy synths, a track that began as a soundtrack as opposed to a song. “The process was to capture a feeling first, and then delve into the structure and arrangement,” Willo explains.
